Bentley | French Bulldog | West Covina, CA | In-Training

Meet Bentley! He’s a 4 month old French Bulldog from West Covina! He’s here for a 3 week Puppy Board and Train Program! He’s energetic and playful but bites everything and doesn’t have very good food manners. I’m looking forward to working with him! Check back for updates on his progress!

Hi there!

We worked on Bentley getting used to walking on his leash today at Cortez Park. He had moments where he would walk great and other times he preferred not to! He ate well and has been playing a lot!

Hi!

We worked on trying to get Bentley to walk on his leash today. He is still having trouble with that. Occasionally he will walk on his own and then he’s given lots of praise when he does that! He’s eating well and playing a lot!

Hello!

Bentley had a lot of fun at Venice Beach! We worked on getting him used to walking on the leash more. He’s getting better with some coaxing but still has moments where he won’t budge! We’re still working on the potty training. He is having accidents in the house. I take him outside in the morning after he wakes up, after he has playtime, and especially if I see him sniffing around and before bed. He does well in the crate and sleeps through the night.

Hello!

Bentley went to the Glendale Galleria today and saw lots of people who thought he was very cute! Bentley was reluctant to walk at first and would only be motivated for a short amount of time with food or treats. He got better once we got to the Galleria area away from the street. We walked up and down the sidewalk area. He had accidents in his crate overnight but went potty outside today.

Hello!

Bentley had fun at the park today playing. He also got to socialize with other dogs! I used a longer leash on him and he walked a lot better on it. He came to me more often when I called him. He’s still having moments of not wanting to walk though. He went potty often on the grass at the park and got lots of praise. He’s eating well and I’ve been giving him a little more food since he’s getting more exercise.

Hi there!

Bentley had a great time at the park playing today! I brought a toy to coax him to walk on the long leash. It helped. He went potty on the grass a few times and I praised him a lot each time! He still had moments of not wanting to walk. He’s sleeping in the crate well overnight still and has a good appetite!
