Peach is a cute little gal who just can't stay still. She's full of energy, and lots of love. The next week is going to be full of fun and learning!
Day of drop-off: She's settling in well! We played around the backyard for a little while and then later in the evening we went for a walk to introduce heel. After about 10 minutes she started to get a little tired, and we headed back for dinner. She ate all her food, and we're now getting ready for bed!
Today we practiced come, sit, place & down. She caught on to place really fast, and her heel is improving everyday! We had a nice walk this evening, and she chased my dog around the backyard for a while after dinner.
Pupdate 10/31/2019 Happy Howl-o-ween!
Today we worked on down and place! She's much more willing to down on the place cot than on the ground, so we practiced that for a while, then practiced with a floor mat, along with our basics. She started to get the hang of placing on the floor mat, but it's not very consistent, or a fluid motion. Tomorrow we're working around more foot traffic, and laying down without the place cot. She ate all of her food, and I brushed her out after her walk this evening. Overall, a good day!
