After picking up Hazel, we headed home to get settled in, and she wasted no time remembering exactly where she was. She relaxed almost immediately and slipped right back into the rhythm of the house, which was great to see.
We spent a little time practicing her commands, and she picked everything back up incredibly quickly. It was like she never left! Her responsiveness and memory were both spot-on.
I’m really happy to have her back, and I’m excited for the time we’ll be spending together. Looking forward to more good days with Hazel!

Hazel had a great day at the park today! We spent our time practicing her commands off leash, and she really impressed me with how well she did. She stayed attentive, followed through consistently, and showed a lot of confidence moving around without the leash to guide her.
Along with all the good work, Hazel had fun! She enjoyed exploring the park, taking in the sights and smells, and having some fun while still keeping her focus when it mattered. It was a really solid session for her
Great job, Hazel!

Hazel and I spent some time at the park today, and she did great! She got to have a little more fun while still staying engaged and responsive with me, which is always nice to see. She’s doing a good job balancing playtime with good manners and focus.
At home, Hazel has been just as impressive. She’s been very polite overall and is settling nicely into her routine. Nighttime crate sleeping has been going smoothly as well, as she’s been calm and comfortable, which is a great sign that she’s feeling secure.
So far, Hazel has been an absolute pleasure to have. She’s doing well both out and about and at home, and honestly, I have no complaints at all. Great job, Hazel!

Hazel had a more relaxed day today, spending most of it hanging out with me and my dog. The two of them have been getting along swimmingly, which has been really nice to see. It’s clear that Hazel remembers my dog, and their comfort with each other continues to grow.
We took several walks together throughout the day, and Hazel did a great job participating in those more structured activities while still having fun. I love that they’re able to enjoy each other’s company but also walk together politely and calmly when it’s time to work.
Overall, it was an easygoing, positive day for Hazel, and I’m very happy with how well she’s fitting in and handling both playtime and structure.

Hazel and I took a little field trip today and checked out a brand new park! I kept her leash on for the outing, but she still had a great time exploring the new environment and taking everything in. Despite the novelty and excitement of a new place, Hazel did a nice job staying engaged with me and was able to perform her commands well when asked.
New parks can be very stimulating, so I was happy to see her balance having fun with listening and working. Overall, it was a fun and productive outing, and Hazel handled the new adventure very nicely!

Hazel and I went to the park today and met up with some other trainers and their dogs. Even with the extra activity and distractions around, Hazel did very well and handled everything like a pro.
She stayed polite, engaged, and confident throughout our time there, showing off her consistent manners and steady demeanor. As usual, Hazel proved she can be trusted to make good choices in a busy environment, another great day with her!

Hazel and I headed out to Almansor Park today, and she had a really fun and successful day. She worked both on and off leash, and overall did very well throughout the entire outing.
One thing that continues to stand out is that I still haven’t seen Hazel’s nerves or anxiety surface at all. To be fair, we haven’t had any fireworks, but in today’s environment she remained calm, confident, and steady the whole time.
Hazel has also been very loving and affectionate, but in a nice, balanced way. She’s not overly pushy for attention. On the occasions where she does start to lean in a bit too much, I simply ask her for a command, especially Come To Sit. This has been a great tool for her: she comes to my left side, sits politely, and can still receive praise and affection without crowding or pushing into me.
Overall, Hazel had a great day at the park, showed good manners, and continues to be a joy to work with. I’m very happy with how she’s been carrying herself and responding to structure while still keeping her sweet personality intact.
