Chewie, a Pomeranian, from Marina Del Rey, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal 2 Week Board & Train dog training program. Chewie was trained by dog trainer Katie Lapin in Los Angeles, CA.
This is Chewie, a 5 year old Pomeranian who is here for our two week board and train program. Chewie has a bigger personality than his body can allow! He loves his zoomies and picking up anything that is off the ground and eating it. Mom and dad live in an apartment where there is an elevator and he does not behave well during the ride so he barks/lunges at people and dogs. We will be spending the next 2 weeks teaching Chewie proper manners so stay turned for his pawsome transformation!

Today we were around a service dog group so Chewie was around lots of well behaved dogs. There was about 4 more dogs not seen in picture. The only time I saw him get nippy was when the Great Dane puppy (pictured on right) came up to him. Since she is a puppy, she does not know the signs to back off so he stood VERY tall and nipped. Nothing concerning but when I saw it, I stimmed and firmly stated "OFF".

He seemed hungry today as he stared and barked near his food today around 3pm. I double checked his weight twice to make sure that daily weight was correct.
