One of Bentley’s sessions took place at the park. In this session, we continued focusing on building a strong foundation in the Off, Break, Come to sit, Extended sit, and Heel commands. He did show some reactivity towards other dogs passing by. We will continue training around areas like this to help him work through these distractions. Everyday he’s showing more personality and has great spirits. He did a great job today!

One of Bentley’s sessions took place at the Home Depot. We continued focusing on building a strong foundation in the Off, Break, Come to sit, Extended sit, Down, Extended down, and Heel commands. This environment brought many new smells, sounds, people, and dogs. He did a really good job not being reactive towards other dogs and staying engaged in training. We also worked on Car, Guest, Food, and Door manners today. Another great day of training!

One of Bentley’s sessions today took place at a park. There were many distractions as many were at the park celebrating Easter. There were many people, dogs, and fireworks all around us. We continued building a strong understanding in the Off, Break, Come to sit, Extended sit, Down, Extended down, Place, and Heel commands loose leash. Bentley did much better with his reactivity today but had a difficult time staying engaged in training. The many environmental distractions seemed to be too much at times. However, I’m very proud of him for working through them and growing. We also worked on Car, Guest, Food, and Door manners today. Another great day of training!

One of Bentley’s sessions today took place at a Home Depot. It was a busy day which brought on many distractions. We continued focusing on having a strong understanding in the Off, Break, Come to sit, Extended sit, Place, Down, Extended down, and Heel commands loose-leash. Bentley did break command a few times, once caught in the video when someone passed by pulling large boxes across the floor. The noise seemed to trigger Bentley to chase it. He did great otherwise following commands and having a fun time exploring the store together. We also worked on Car, Guest, Food, and Door manners today as well. Another great day of training!

One of Bentley’s sessions today took place at my residence. We focused on all learned obedience as well as Door manners. He did a great job of sitting patiently and not impulsively running out the front door. I was proud at his impulse control because while training birds, cats, and people walked pass and he did not break command.

One of Bentley’s sessions today took place at my residence. We focused on all learned obedience as well as Food refusal. He is very playful and sometimes he breaks command because of his excitement to play. I make it an important point for Bentley to understand that playing is perfectly acceptable and encouraged, but in the necessary times. He must understand there is a time to play and a time to work/being obedient especially for safety reasons. We also worked on Car and Greeting manners. But everyday he continues to improve with high spirits! I’m very proud of his daily progress and positive attitude towards training!

One of Bentley’s sessions today took place around my neighborhood. We focused on all learned obedience in a neighborhood setting loose leash. He did show some reactivity towards other dogs. We worked through those reactive episodes and use them as valuable training opportunities. His reactivity is not aggressive but rather wanting to play. Nonetheless, he is showing progress with his impulse control and engagement in training. We also worked on Food, Car, Door, and Greeting manners. Another great day of training!
