Winter, a 1 year on Husky Samoyed Mix joined Balanced Canine Training SoCal for a 2 Week Board & Train dog training and obedience package with trainer Chris Ramirez.

“Place”! Is the command she’s doing here. Her confidence with this command is awesome. Willing to jump up onto any object to home that Sit. Took it to park since we caught a break from the rain.

Some urban training In after some rain. Knowing there’s some cats cruising along and dogs barking, it’s perfect for some distraction work! She’s fighting the urge to just wanting to play but instead she’s being obedient to the commands. Good job girl!

Getting Winter to the point where she has the confidence to “Place” onto a higher unstable object. She makes it look very easy for sure. We’ll be going out to th the public all this week to practice distraction work!

After a great session of training, she chugged down some cool water and decided to het her sun tan on! Practiced her “Heeling” and she’s on point with it! When she’s out working, she’s a go get‘er! Sharp left turns and right turns. No more pulling on that leash!

She’s catching on pretty darn quick with her commands. Already have “Sit”, “Down”, and “Place” on point. In this pictur, shes dmisplaying a “Place“ command trying to get her to gain confidence to sit into any object. Starting small with a cot. Proud of this girl!

Such a beautiful pup we have here for the next two weeks of training. Her name is Winter and she’s here to kick butt! She and her owner loves to go on hikes and explorer but her owner would also love for her recall to be more on point and better obedient with commands. Stay tuned for the next two weeks and see her progress.
