West and I spent most of the day taking walks around the neighborhood to get acquainted with each other! During our walk, West was pretty good on the leash and only really pulled when she wanted to investigate something! We also went and visited a park near my house and relaxed on the grass! West is a very affectionate pup and wanted to get as many pets as possible! When we got home I worked on getting her comfortable in a crate because she gets very anxious when confined! It took some time but she is finally getting acclimated to the new routine! We will be starting our training tomorrow due to wanting West to adjust properly!

Today West and I started the morning with a structured walk around the neighborhood! During this time, we worked on Heel, Sit, and Come! West was very good during her quick training session and is such a sweet girl! Later on we met up with another trainer in Thousand Oaks to continue working with West on some of her commands! We primarily worked on introducing her Down command. She at first was very hesitant while teaching her the new command, but picked it up very quickly and got more confident performing it! I decided not to incorporate the ecollar while teaching her down because she gets very stressed when learning new things. I wanted to make learning something new as exciting and rewarding for West as possible! Today was very productive for her and she is learning very quickly!

Today West and I started our morning with a quick work session around the neighborhood! West has been very very well behaved and super eager to learn. Later on we decided to go work in a tennis court to work on heel, down, place, and sit. West is still a bit sensitive to pressure, so we are taking training very slowly because I don’t want to stress her out. Also West has been doing amazing with crate training and actually enjoys spending time in her crate!

Today West and I started our morning routine with a structured walk where we worked on heel, place, down, and come! She did fairly well and performed most of the commands without issues. Later we went to an outdoor mall and worked on place, down, and come. West sometimes gets anxious with being asked to do a lot of commands in a row, so we broke up her commands into sections! We would work on each commands for 5-10 minutes before doing a different command!

In the video she had a few times where she didn’t want to do the command but I was very firm and consistent with the ecollar. Besides those minor mess ups, she did overall very well!
