After getting back with Tyson, we took a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood to let him acclimate to his new surroundings! He walked very well on the leash and wasn’t pulling at all! He enjoyed a couple belly rubs while laying out at the park. After getting back, I let him relax in the crate for a bit while I left to do errands. When I got back and let him out again to go pee and take a walk, I realized he was not putting a lot of weight on his front left foot. I believe that his foot fell asleep and was a bit painful from waking back up (similar to us people when we get pins and needle sensations) when I took him out for a quick walk, he started slowly putting that weight back on his foot. I did check his paw pad and foot just to make sure and he had no marks or any visible issues!

Today Tyson and I started the morning with a walk around the neighborhood to let him stretch his legs and have a good relaxing sniff around! He did wake up with a sore leg but went away after our 20 minute walk. After a bit of time relaxing after our walk, we went to a quiet park and started introducing Place and Come! He performed Place very well and was very energetic while we trained! His Come command was pretty smooth majority of the time and had only a few hiccups! We spent probably around 30-45 minutes working on both commands and then spent some time relaxing in the shade so that Tyson could cool down before heading home! I did notice that after our training session, Tyson started limping slightly. I checked his paw pad and foot to make sure he didn’t hurt himself and no signs of injury. So far very good first day of training!

Today Tyson and I started the morning with a structured walk around the neighborhood to let him stretch his legs out and work on Heel! He was very eager to go out and explore the neighborhood! His foot seemed a bit better this morning and was not limping as bad!! Later we went to a park and focused on Heel, Place, Sit, and Come! He did very well with his Heel and wasn’t pulling as hard today! Tyson was very eager to work and his commands were pretty good! We practiced his commands for about 40 minutes before he started getting mentally tired from learning! So far I’m very happy with his eagerness and willingness to work! Great work today Tyson!

Today Tyson and I started the morning with a structured walk around the neighborhood and focused on Heel, Sit, and Come! He did very well on his walk but was slightly limping for some reason. I have been checking his foot every day to make sure no injuries are visible and he has none. After our short session I gave Tyson some crate rest to see if that would help with his foot issue. Later we went to Janns Marketplace and focused on putting all of his commands together. When we got there he still was limping. We kept the training short to help with minimizing his discomfort and gave him plenty of time to rest in between each command! I let him rest for most of the afternoon because I don’t want to strain his foot. So far he has been very lively and full of energy when I would take him out and work with him!

Today Tyson and I started our morning with a structured walk around the neighborhood and focused on Heel, Down, Come, and Sit. He was limping a little bit during our morning session, so I decided to keep our routine short. He was very well behaved on his walk and stayed in a very nice heel! Later we focused on Door manners at home because Tyson likes to get overly excited when he knows we are going to take a walk. We worked on it for about 30 minutes and eventually calmed himself down and paid more attention! Later we went for another short training session at the park and focused on Duration Down, Place, Sit, Come, and Heel! He was very eager while working but still slightly limping. I gave him a lot of rest to try and give his foot a break!

Today Tyson and I started our morning with a structured walk around the neighborhood and focused on Heel, Down, Come, and Sit! He was very well behaved and energetic! He did still have a minor limp to his leg so we kept our walk short! Later we went to The Collection and focused on putting all of his commands together! He was very well behaved and very responsive to his commands! Since he still had a slight limp, we kept our training short and gave him a lot of breaks in between each command!

Today Tyson and I had a relaxing day due to his limping. We started our day with our routine walk around the neighborhood and worked on Heel, Sit, Down, Come, and Sit. He was very well behaved and was happy to be out and about! I gave him plenty of rest in between each command. Later we went to Lowes and practiced putting all of his commands together! He did very well and performed each command the first time! For the rest of the evening we took a few more walks but most of the evening I let him rest. Due to him still limping I didn’t want to over work him.
