Tuque, an eight month old Jack Russell Terrier, has joined OffLeash SoCal for our One Week Board and Train Program. Tuque comes to knowing his obedience commands but doesn't always follow them, leash pulling, being easily distracted, digs, and eats things he's not suppose to. Over the week Tuque will be working on his on leash obedience and manners. Check in to see his progress!

Tuque is settling in well at my home. He is getting acquainted with all his new doggie friends. He was a bit nervous around the bigger dogs in the beginning, but has warmed up them.

Today Tuque and I worked on his training at home. I introduced and conditioned him to the ecollar. We practiced commands Place and Come to Sit. Tuque did very well. He is a smart boy and caught on quickly.

Today Tuque and I went to the park to work on his commands. He was not happy about the weather today. All he wanted to do was stay home and be with his friends. We practiced more of his Come to Sit and Place. We also worked on a new command, Heel. He did pretty well. Heel is still a work in progress, but Tuque is walking better at my side.

Today Tuque and his buddy, Bo, joined me on a shopping spree at The Citadel Outlet. Tuque was a little nervous in the beginning with all the distractions going on around us, but as we walked around and practiced his commands he was able to relax. He great job following all his commands.

Today Tuque and I went to the park to work on his obedience. We worked on his duration and distance. We also practiced a new command, Come to Heel. This is a command where Tuque comes to my left, into the Heel position. He is still getting the hang of it. This command can be a little tricky. Tuque is doing great at holding his commands longer and staying focused on me.

Today, tuque and his buddies, Zeus and Bo, went to the mall to work on their obedience around distractions. It was very busy at the mall so there were a lot distractions to practice his obedience around. Tuque did very well. He was focused and obedient.

Today Tuque and I worked on his obedience at home. We practiced all his commands. We worked on his door manners, good manners, and car loading. I gave him a bath so he could be clean when he sees you, but he wrestled around played with his buddies getting all dirty again. Tuque can't wait to go home and show you everything he has learned!
