Meet Teddy! A 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer Mix from Alhambra California! He is here because he pulls on the leash, gets easily distracted, and needs to learn basic obedience. But he is very playful, smart, and super cute! Teddy is here for our 2 week board and train program! Stay tuned for Teddy’s 14 day transformation!

Today Teddy and I worked at my house! Today I just introduced his recall and heel! Teddy is a puller on the leash but we will work on that! Teddy has been such a good boy! He is adjusting well to his temporary home. I’m so excited to see his progress over the next few weeks!

Today Teddy and I went to the park! Teddy and I worked on his Heel and Sit. Teddy does try to pull at times but is slowly getting the hang of what is being asked! We also worked on Teddy's duration Sit. Teddy has been such a good boy!

Today Teddy and I went to Lowe’s! Teddy and I worked on his heel, recall, down, and I introduced place to him! While we were at Lowe’s Teddy got very distracted and got scared by loud noises. I will continue to work Teddy out in public to desensitize him to distractions. Teddy also got to play with his training pal Marley and they had such a good time together! Teddy is such a good boy and he is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to the park! Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his extended down and recall! While we were at the park Teddy did bark at two dogs. Also when I put leash tension to guide Teddy for commands he does not like it and starts to move a lot but we will continue to work on that. Teddy has been such a good boy! He also got to play with his training pal Marley! Teddy is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to the Valencia mall! Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his extended down and extended place! When I asked Teddy to go on a place he was a little unsure so I helped him up. But after that Teddy was able to get on place all by himself! Teddy still does get distracted out in public but we will continue to work on that! Teddy also got to play with his training pal Marley! Teddy has been such a good boy!

Today Teddy and I went to Santa Monica Pier! Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his heel and extended place! While Teddy was on place he did go into a down without being asked so I just helped Teddy get back into a sit so he follows through with the command! Teddy has been such a good boy and he is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to the Glendale Galleria! Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we focused on his sit and extended place. In this video when I asked Teddy to sit he went into a down. What I did was help Teddy sit and once he completed that command I gave him what he wanted. Teddy also did that in a place but once he completed the command I asked I let Teddy down. Teddy has been such a good boy and he is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to the park. Teddy and I worked on all of there commands but we did focus on his heel and recall. Teddy did such a good job today. I did give Teddy a light day since his tummy is still upset. But Teddy still has tons of energy! Today he got to play with his pal Marley and they had a blast together. Teddy has been such a good boy.

Today Teddy and I went to Hobby Lobby and Petco. Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his extended down and heel. I wanted to take Teddy to those locations because I noticed Teddy does get scared of loud noises. Teddy got super scared of the shopping cart so what I did was put him in a down and pass by him with the shopping cart. Teddy did get up a few times but he did get better with staying in a down the longer I did it. I also took Teddy to Petco so he could see some dogs. Teddy has been such a good boy and he is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to the Valencia mall. Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his recall and extended place. Teddy does get scared of any loud or unusual noises. It was windy while we were training and he was breaking out of some commands since he was scared. I did work Teddy through it but he still does get scared. In this video when I recalled Teddy he sat in front of me so what I did was take a step back and recall him again and he went to the correct position. Also I dropped the leash today and Teddy did great with the leash dragging. Teddy has been such a good boy and he is improving each day we train.

Today Teddy and I went to Century City Mall. Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we did focus on his extended place and recall. In this video when I recalled Teddy he sat in front of me instead of coming around my back and sitting on my left hand side. What I did was take a step back and have Teddy redo it. I also practiced his recall a few more times. Teddy still gets nervous with loud and unusual noises but we are working him through it. Overall Teddy has been such a good boy and he is improving each day we train!

Today Teddy and I went to Hollywood walk of fame! Teddy and I worked on all of his commands but we focus on his extended down and heel. In this video you do see Teddy get scared by a loud noise when he was in a down so what did was put him back in a down until being released. Teddy did such a good job today and he is improving each day we train!
