Meet Skye! The 12 month old Labrador Retriever mix from Hawthorn, Ca! Skye is really sweet and friendly, but can be shy and timid when meeting new people. She joined OffLeash SoCal for our one week board and train program to work on her confidence, leash pulling, and her happy nipping. Stay tuned for her 7 day transition!

Skye adapted well to temporary space and ate all of her dinner. She was lightly introduced to the recall command and was responding well! Check back tomorrow for Skye’s 1st lesson!

Skye adapted well in her kennel space last night. She ate all her meals and had healthy stool on her restroom breaks. She did good on her first lesson which was a combination of her recall and the place command! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s lesson and adventure!

Today was quite adventurous! We did a lot of walking and hiking to work on her heel command. She had a few moments where she was distracted but once she was correct she was back on track! Keep up the good work Skye!

Skye did a good job today on her commands She is start to get the basics down she is gaining confidence! She did well with her greeting manners today. Everyday working with her she has made progress! Great job Skye! Keep up the good work!

Skye did well with her food manners learning how to properly take treats, and door manners today. She is still working hard toward her greeting manners and her confidence to say hello! The nipping and jumping has calmed down a lot stay tuned for tomorrow’s fun!

Skye did great on her commands and her manners today. She had great eye contact and was happy to follow commands! She’s gained so much confidence and will continue with everyday training! Stay tuned!

Skye showcased her new skills today at Santa Monica Pier. So many people complimented on how well behaved she is! She is doing better with her confidence on meeting new people. She has gained so much knowledge during this training and is ready to show her family what she has learned! Be on the look out for her final video!
