Roxy, a German Shepherd, from Carson, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal 2 Week Board & Train dog training program. Roxy was trained by dog trainer Jesus Medina in Acton, CA.
Roxy is our new two week board and train and she is almost 6 months old. She is a playful pup with lots of energy and tends to give off the impression of aggression to anyone who sees her and walks near her. She lunges at every person and animal that is around her and is constantly jumping on people including her owners. The most important thing her owners would like to fix is her barking and lunging at people and other dogs. They can’t take her out for walks comfortably.

Roxy has improved a lot with her jumping epscisly while on walks and has understood to hold commands and not release until she hears a release command. One of the things that still needs improvement is her jumping when she hears “break”.

Roxy loves to hold commands ! It feels like she has improved over night, she holds while i walk up to 20 feet away, she stays sitting or on down while i tie my shoe and waits to be released.

Roxy practiced all commands today. She worked on heel, place, sit, down and we also worked on her recall. She has gotten better with her recall. She is also working on her off leash down but we still have work to do with making sure everything looks clean.
