Meet little miss Rita! She is a one and a half year old Beagle PitBull Mix from Gardena, CA. She is a very cuddly sweet girl who is here for our Two Week Board and Train Program! She is with us to help her get over eating everything in sight on walks, pulling on the lead, and chewing destructively on anything and everything she can find (including but not limited to wood flooring!). Stay tuned to see her 14 day transformation!

Little Miss Rita is all settled in! She scarfed up her dinner, had a blast checking out the backyard, and is getting used to the kennel really quickly! I am so excited to get started with her tomorrow and start her two week journey!

Rita did absolutely fantastic on her first full day! She is already getting her Heel command down! She is eating great, has some kennel anxiety but not more than we expected, and she is picking up her commands crazy fast!

This girl is already getting weaned off the leash! She did most of her lesson with it dragging behind her! She is still a bit anxious about being out and about and it takes her a little bit to get comfortable and focus. Her Heel is coming along so well and I am so proud of everything she is already learning!

Miss Rita conquered the weave poles today! she is such a sweet pea and while is stubborn with new situations at first is working through it faster and faster! She is starting to love her kennel with me and is eating and sleeping great.

Miss Rita worked through quite a bit of fear today! She was incredibly uncomfortable with the park we went to today at first because there were a ton of loud kids sprinting around making tons of noise, but after some Heel work and a couple difficult places she ended up right at home! She also is starting to learn to auto side correct which is so much fun!

Miss Rita worked through her fear of skateboard and made you all a tutorial on her recall command today! She has come so far in her first 5 days and I am so excited to see how much more she is going to learn!

This baby girl has come so far in her first week! She is making so much more eye contact, is really getting her Heel down, and is getting so much more confident in public. She worked on a bit of everything at the shopping mall and even held her Heel when a kid started calling to her saying what a good girl she is! She also did a super duration/distance Place for a whole tennis match at the end of her first lesson of the day!

Miss Rita worked really hard in her most challenging environment yet! She filmed a Heel instructional and practiced all her commands at the outdoor mall. Her big wins today were maintaining a Sit when a little boy decided to sprint up to us "rawring" at her incredibly threateningly and keeping a Down almost ten feet from me with a very excited pup walking by. She is doing really well!

I am so happy to finally be getting photos of the little momma smiling in public! She has come so far in the last week and I am so proud of her. She is developing a bit of a "Heeling to close for comfort" habit we are working on. It's definitely not the worst problem to have, but she is wrapping slightly in front during her heel which can result in the clumsy humans tripping, so we are working on it!

Miss Rita went to HomeDepot today and did really great! She handled all of the new distractions really well. She is getting better about wrapping in front and is getting significantly more confident. I am so excited to show her off to Mom and Dad on Sunday!

These three finally got to play all together today! It took some time to get everybody fully comfortable with each other but today they all started acting like old friends. Miss Rita can get a bit stiff and a little intense with other pups, so she has needed to learn some manners but overall is a great player once she gets comfortable! She is such a sweet girl and it was so fun getting to see her come all the way out of her shell with the other pups!

Rita helped me with training a new trainer and made a video about her stationary commands! Those are all her tutorials! She is such a love bug, as excited as I am to show her of to Mom and Dad, I am going to miss the snuggle bug!

Rita filmed her final video today! We still have a couple videos showing her manners to film but other than that she is just about ready to get packed up for home! She is having so much fun running around with the other two and going new places, we are going to miss her!
