Ripley, a German Shepherd from Santa Fe Springs, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Fear/Aggression Board & Train dog training program. Ripley was trained by dog trainer Jesus Medina in Acton City, CA.
Welcome Ripley to the camp. She is a sweet dog that is very fearful and skittish.
Over time, a timid, back-of-the-pack dog can be turned into a skittish, terrified animal because of humans unintentionally rewarding him when he's in a negative energy state. Dogs don't need love when they're fearful; they need leadership. Dogs exhibit what's called allelomimetic behavior.
