Rex, a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, has joined Offleash SoCal for our 2 week board and train program. Rex is a friendly and energetic boy who loves making new people and doggie friends. He tends to pull on the leash while on a walk and doesn’t always come when called. Over the 2 weeks he will be working on his off leash obedience and manners. Check in to see his progress!

Today I introduced and conditioned Rex to the e-collar. He practiced commands come to sit and place. He did pretty well for his first day of training. Rex is have a great time with the 6 other dogs at the house, chasing each other and playing. He is doing great in the crate, no whining or barking. He doesn’t like going in it, but once he is put away he is fine.

Today I took Rex to the park to work on commands. We practiced more on come to sit, place, and started working on loose leash walking. The loose leash walk still needs more work, but he is doing a little better at not pulling as much.
