Ollie is a bundle of joy here! He's settling in well, and gets along with the other pups. We'll be going on our nightly walk soon.

Ollie has been having fun in between rain spells! We started our day with a walk, and worked in some basics, and then went inside for breakfast! We're gonna be working on recall for a bit today, and continue our leash manners.

We worked on holding our sits and downs today! It was another gloomy day but we had some fun with toys inside and Ollie got his flea medication.

Food refusal! He's loved to beg around me since day one but we've been working on that impulse control. We worked on our heel a bit this morning, and then place and duration down.

Working on place during this rainy day! We started our day with a walk around the neighborhood, then worked in the front yard for a bit before playtime. It started sprinkling as the pups were playing so we reluctantly moved inside. Ollie held a duration down on place (a fancy word for an object they can get on, in this case we used a doormat and a bench seat) for about 5 minutes at first, and we increased durations until he was holding down for about 20 minutes while I swept and organized the room. After working on holding his downs longer on place, we did a few off of place, just on the tile, and he got up a couple times but by the third one didn't need any corrections. While we were watching a movie later in the evening he went to the door and stood near it, to let me know he had to potty. I praised him and let him out to potty and then we came back inside.

After our evening walk and dinner we hungout on the patio before heading to bed.

Lots of walking around the neighborhood today! His heel is getting closer, we'll be practicing off leash tomorrow.

Practicing our skills around the neighborhood! Ollie didn't wanna finish his dinner, but he ate most of it and had some water too. His heel has gotten better, and we're working on polishing up his durations holding commands with distractions!
