Meet Olive! Olive is a 9 month old German Shepherd Pug mix from Los Angeles, California! She is here for our 2 Week Board and Train Program! She’s a super sweet, loving smart girl that has all her basic obedience down, unless there’s distractions. She's going to be working on her obedience training with distractions as well and her OffLeash and recall. We’re all looking forward to Olives progress these next 2 weeks!

Olive enjoyed a day at the park with another offleash trainer and her dog. She worked around a lot of distractions. She practiced impulse control, she tried to eat poop a couple times and got distracted by ducks but over all she did amazing. Video coming soon!!!
Pupdate 7/20/2021
Olive had such fun today at the park. She did really well with her heel. She is improving so well. She walked by a couple dogs and didn’t bark or try to go up to them, she kept focus the whole time. She did try to eat random things off the ground a couple times but I worked on that with her. She did get a little distracted with a remote toy car but quickly refocused. Over all she’s doing great and I can’t wait to see her progress! She is extremely sweet and smart!

Olive did an amazing job today! She worked really well around distractions. She practiced her impulse control when other dogs were around. She also did really well practicing place today. She is such a friendly girl, she had so much fun exploring the park and working on come to heel. She also played with Mia, another German Shepherd mix! She did try to eat some of the grass but we worked on it. Over all Olive is doing amazing!
Pupdate 7/22/2021
Today Olive explored Wilderness Park! We practiced all her commands and built up a little bit more of her confidence. She did really good ignoring other dogs that were walking around as well as people and ducks. She had a little trouble at Home Depot with all of the noise but over all she did amazing. She didn’t mind walking around people with shopping carts or really big objects. She also sat patiently at check out. Olive ended the day with a little play time. Over all today was a fun day.

Today Olive had an amazing day at Santa Monica Pier! She worked on all her commands and improved so much working around other dogs. She is doing so well! She gets overly excited when greeting people so we’re working on it. Olive also went to Rynerson park today to work around more distractions like other dogs and children. She did amazing ignoring them. She finished the day with a pumpkin treat!She is progressing so well!

Olive went to Petsmart to work on her commands around other dogs. She did really great! She got distracted by some squeak toys but she quickly recovered. She also had an amazing time working on greeting manners at Barnes & Noble. She has gotten a lot better at ’down’ and ‘place’. Over all today was a a very exciting day. She is so smart! She also ate all her breakfast and dinner and enjoyed a bully-stick before bed.

Olive did such an amazing job today. We started the day off with an early morning walk to a near by park. We then practiced all her commands and working around more distractions. There was bikers and children playing That caught her attention but she quickly refocused. We went home before it got too hot out and Olive enjoyed her breakfast. We also went to Citadel Outlets where Olive did such a a amazing job working around distractions. There was people whistling at her and children reaching out to grab her. There was also a lot of other dogs trying to grab her attention. Olive ignored them all. She did such a good job moving through the crowd since it was a busy day there. Over all today was exhausting for her . She ate all her food and enjoyed chewing some more on her bully stick before bed. She’s also doing great with her food manners.
Pupdate 7/26/2022
Olive started her morning by going on a structured walk near my home. We went to Cerritos mall where she practiced all her commands around distractions. She did really good! We then went to Griffith Park with a couple other Offleash trainers to practice her Offleash and duration down and sit. She is doing amazing but needs a little more work on duration down. We also saw some deer at Griffith Park which was new for Olive and she handled it amazingly. She is such a pleasure to train! She ate all her breakfast and dinner!

Olive went to Stonewood mall where we practiced all of her commands. We focused more on her duration down and sit which she did amazing at! She is such a smart girl! She ignored everyone at the mall and focused on me the whole time. We also went to Petsmart where she had awesome impulse control. She sat patiently the whole time during checkout and ignored people calling her, squeaking toys at her and other dogs. She is also way more confident than she ever was and does place really well! She had no hesitations about jumping on top of the dog food! We then went to Mod pizza where she sat patiently the whole time while I ate my food. She did such an amazing job and wasn’t bothered by all the foot traffic or loud noises! She is doing so well!!

Today Olive had such a fun day meeting up with other Offleash trainers who also brought their pups. She did really well handling the distractions! We went to Arcadia Mall where we practiced all commands, her duration down is so good! People would walk by and compliment her. She is so sweet. We also practiced place a bit outside. I’m so amazed at how well she is doing with her confidence. The rest of the day was spent working on her commands at home since it was pretty hot and humid out and didn’t cool down until later on in the day. She is doing so well! She’s also doing amazing at her food and door manners! She ate all her breakfast and dinner!!
Pupdate 7/29/2021
Olive went to Huntington Beach this morning to work on all of her commands. We met up with another Offleash trainer and her pups and Olive did such a good job ignoring them. She also ignored people, children, bikes and other dogs. I am really impressed with her! We then went to a park near my home just to go over all her commands again and practice place and come sit! I am so happy with how she’s turning out!

Today Olive went to Stonewood mall to work on all of her commands! She did so well! We then went to Treasure Island Park where she ignored other people and their dogs! She has gotten so much better! She then got some play time before bed! She ate all of her breakfast and dinner! I am so proud of how far she’s come. I’m going to miss her!

Today Olive went to a local mall where we went over all commands! I’m so proud of how far she has come! She was used to the noise and children yelling and grabbing at her. Someone people even had their dogs barking at her and she ignored them and kept walking. Since it was her last day with me we kept it simple. She then had a lot of play time with me and her new bestie Sombra, my personal dog who’s a chihuahua. She is so amazing and so sweet!
