Molly and I spent time getting to know each other today after pick up. We went to a local park where we were able to gage her knowledge on her basic commands. Molly does pull a lot on leash so we made sure to work on heel right away. I did give her some time to get adjusted in my home and to her new environment since she was a bit shy. After some time, we went ahead and started working on her first command, ‘come’. We introduced the e-collar while also introducing this new command. Molly did great but was a bit overwhelmed. We took a step back and had some play time to get her out of her shell. Molly did eat some of her food but didn’t finish it all. She enjoyed a treat and did amazing in her kennel. Overall, she is a good girl who is willing to learn.

Molly and I worked on more of her heel today. She is getting the hang of staying close to my left side since she did tend to walk a bit away in the beginning. She is a bit shy and nervous when we go outside and spooks easily with loud noises. She wanted to stay by my side while we took a water break outside and would try and jump up at me. She is doing great with her come to sit but does tend to jump up, this could be due to nicety and her way of asking me to pick her up. She is adjusting well to her e-collar and her environment in my home. She had some treats before bed. Overall, she is doing a great job and got the hang of sit today. She still needs to be led by some leash pressure but she is slowly understanding what one asking.Â

Molly and I spend the day working on her jumping. She tends to jump up when I’m making her food and will also jump up while out for walks or just in general while roaming my home. We made sure to work on food manners to curb the jumping when it comes to her food as well as using the e-collar with the command off. The off command is used when Molly is doing something we don’t want her to do such as pulling or jumping. After a couple of tries she did great. She is getting the hang of Place but I do notice she does better when working outside than in my home. At home she seems more distracted and wants to wander around instead of training. We worked on getting her used to following commands both in and out of the house. She is still learning but is doing a lot better. Molly is still a bit cautious when going outside and does still spook at loud noises like a car engine. Molly does do great when passing other people and dogs and will be interested in them but won’t make an effort to walk over. Overall, Molly did great today. She enjoyed a couple treats before bed. We’re going to work on introducing down tomorrow as well as working on the commands she’s learned in new locations!Â

Today molly and I worked on her commands at a local park. Molly is doing a lot better with her heel but will go ahead of me if she sees other people and dogs. We’re working on her turns since she doesn’t pay attention to my body while we’re walking and won’t notice when we’re turning. Molly did great after some time and is getting the hang of her sit. Molly does it now without any leash pressure. She is getting better at her come to sit but will stop short and sit behind me or in front of me. We’re really working towards making her positioning a bit better. We worked on down a bit and that seems to be Molly’s hardest command to get the hang of. We’re slowly introducing it into every training session so she can get used to go in a down. Overall, she did great and we ended the day by introducing durations. She had a hard time and would break her command but it’s a slow work in progress and she’s definitely improving. She is going potty outside and enjoyed a couple treats before bed.

Molly and I went to a local park where we worked on all of her commands. Molly is doing really well with her heel and is more in tune with my body. She turns when I turn and will even keep the same pace as me. Though, she will walk ahead or stop to turn around if something catches her attention. She’s doing a bit better with her duration but still can’t hold it for very long! We’re working on increasing her durations each day! We needed our day working on a new command, under. She seemed to get the hang of it but was unsure since she still needs guidance with her down! Overall, she is improving every day. She had a couple of treats before bed as has been going potty outside.Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands today! She is definitely improving on her down and we’re trying to expose her to different environments with different noise levels. I notice that in an environment that is fairly loud she does great but does need to be reminded more often on following through with her commands! Molly has been doing awesome with her durations. She’s been able to hold her commands for about 30 seconds now before getting up. She enjoyed a lot of free time today at the park and enjoyed following my dog around. She has gotten better with her jumping but will still do it occasionally. I also noticed Molly needs to go potty about two times before loading up into the car. She will at times leave a little nugget in her car kennel if we’re traveling for some time. To work around this I’ve made sure Molly have more than enough time to potty before leaving. We’re still working on her down but she is slowly coming around to doing the command! Molly is such a good girl and is improving daily!Â

Molly and I went to a local park to work on all of her commands! We mainly focused on her extended place amongst all her other commands. She found it really hard to stay in place especially when I grabbed some lunch. She was begging and trying to jump up at me. We took this opportunity to work on her impulse control as well as her place. She would get off of place often and I’d have to put her back every time she did. After a while she was able to stay on place a lot longer. It’s still a work in progress and she is improving! We ended our training session today by introducing come to heel. Basically Molly will fall into the heel position after a command such as place. She needed a bit of guidance but got the hang of it.Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands at a local park! She is doing a lot better with down and place but struggles when inside the home. She is very distracted and will often times try to wander still. We took some time today to work solely on place and down in my home. As you can tell by the video, Molly will turn her body to look at me or will get up and off the place cot. Molly is doing great with all of her commands when out in public but getting her to follow them at home is a bit harder since she tends to think she doesn’t need to follow them in the home. Overall, she is doing great and we’re going to try and work more on listening better in the home. She is doing great with her potty!Â

Molly and I went to Henry Boisseranc Park to work on all of her commands. It did take her some time to warm up to her new environment especially since there were other trainers and their pups there today! Molly was hesitant to walk by the bigger dogs and would often times try to pull back. After walking back and forth and around the other pups she warmed up nicely and heeled no problem. Molly and I worked on her send away to place as shown in the video. We increased the distance of send away to place after a couple of repetitions. After a couple of reps she was able to place from the end of the leash. Her place has gotten better but she will still get up if people bend down to pet her or a dog she’s interested in walks by her. We’re slowly working on getting her used to holding her commands a bit better. We ended todays session by introducing under. Under is a command used to tell the dog to get under something such as a chair or a bench. She struggled getting the hang of it since she wanted to jump on top. We’re going to focus on working more on her under. Overall, Molly did such a great job today and enjoyed plenty of water and treats. She’s had no accidents in her kennel and is on a very consistent potty schedule.Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands today! She is doing so good with holding her commands but will get up if she thinks I’m walking away. We’re working on increasing our distance a lot farther than before. We struggled finding things to put Molly under in public areas so we opted for working on under in my home under small items! She struggled getting under the object and differentiating going on place or under. After working on it for some time she was able to get the hang of it but it’s still a work in progress! Overall, she is doing a great job!Â

Molly and I went to Petsmart today to work on all of her commands around distractions! She did such a great job but was a bit nervous and jumpy when people would pick up bags or drop items in the next isles. It did take her a while to get used to her new environment but she did great following through with all of her commands. You can see in the video how Molly gets up when she gets a bit nervous but I quickly put her back down and try again. She did amazing the more we worked on it. Overall, we’re going to work Molly through louder noises the next couple of days. She has a couple of treats before bed!Â

Molly and I went to a local park during the busiest time of the day. There was squealing children and other dogs with their owners. There Molly and I practiced all of her commands with the leash dragging. She did such a great job staying by my side and was able to hold all of her commands while I walked more than 6th away from her. Molly is getting better at her under and was able to go under a couple small benches or under the slide. She is such a good girl and is doing great. She had a couple of treats before bed!Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands off leash today in my neighborhood and in Home Depot today! She did such a great job and stayed fright by my side. While doing her come to sit she does still need a couple of tries before she gets the right positioning but she does really well overall. We worked on Molly’s door manners as seen in the video today since she does have a tendency to want to rush through any door such as sliding doors, automatic doors etc. We kept the leash on her while working on her door manners to catch her when she breaks the command and but her back on place. It also helps guide her and place her in the correct position. We worked on using her place command for her door manners and she did amazing. There were a couple of times when she would get up and walk over to me or stand by the door but I went and put her right back on. Overall, she is doing an amazing job!

Molly and I worked off leash at Petsmart today around other people and their pups. We went during the busiest time of the day and she did amazing. She was able to practice her greeting manners with some of the employees and was also able to work on her under. She did a great job and was able to get under the shelving that had a wide enough space for her. Molly is doing so great and stays at my side though will at times turn her body to see what other people are doing. We’re working on keeping her focus on me and having her not turn while doing her command. Overall, she is doing amazing and has gained so much confidence.Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands off leash at Lowe’s today! She did a great job when people passed her n isn’t make the effort to walk up to them. Molly is such a good girl and was able to place on a small bin. You can see in the video she struggles figuring out how to sit on it but eventually gets the hang of it! She is such a good girl. Molly is doing so much better with her come to sit as well as her under. Overall, she is doing such a great job.Â

Molly and I went to Brookhurst Park to work on all of her commands off leash. We also worked on under today and she did great. She was being a bit pushy with her down today and would at times walk away to place instead of going into a down. After working her through it she seemed to do better. Molly has been a little on edge due to the fireworks that go off in my neighborhood so she spooks easily at closing doors or leaf blowers. I made sure to put a blanket over her kennel to muffle the loud noise as well and turn up some music for her. Overall, she is doing such a good job and has improved so much.Â

Molly and I went to a local park for some off leash fun with her bestie Mia. Molly and I worked on her commands in between play sessions and she did great listening. She does tend to stick close to me so it was great to see her come out of her shell some more during play time. There were a couple of fireworks that went off and she did get a bit spooked. It was a bit hot today so we made sure to train in small sessions since Molly does tend to get tired quickly. Overall, she did a great job and had lot of fun!Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands and manners today around my home. Today we really focused on all of her manners and took it a bit slow since Molly was really spooked after last nights fireworks. When we tried working off leash there were a couple of times where Molly would scurry away and walk by to my home or to the place cot. Molly also tired eating some of the firework debris so we made sure to avoid them at all cost. Molly did great with her manners and had definitely improved so much! Overall, she is such a good girl!Â

Molly and I went to Fashion Island today to work on all of her commands off leash! She did such an amazing job but was a bit spooked by loud noises such as doors slamming or the cleaning cart. Molly held all of her commands and was unbothered by passing dogs and strollers. She did struggle when we worked on greeting manners but after some time she did amazing and even let a little girl pet her. Molly settled in nicely while I had some lunch and she was in a down next to my table the whole time. Overall, Molly is such a good girl and even tried placing on things that were a little too high for her. I did help her up to boost her confidence. We will be coming back again tomorrow to work more on her greeting manners and exposure to different sounds and people. She ate a couple of treats before bed.Â

Molly and I worked on all of her commands off leash! She did such a great job like the day before but was scared of the water fountain pictures. It was really loud and Molly was scared to jump up at first. After some time she was able to place and down comfortably. Molly is doing such a good job with her greeting manners and isnt spooked by many people by as much, though she does prefer women. Overall, Molly is a good girl and has improved so much these past few weeks.

Molly and I worked on all of her commands today at a local park! There she was able to have some off leash fun with her bestie, Mia. Molly did a great job and ignored children as they played on the play ground. She did get a bit timid with the basketballs bouncing but did great overall. She is such a good girl and we added a clip from Fashion Island while working on send away to place! Molly can’t wait to show you all that’s she’s learned tomorrow!Â
