Molly and I spent the day getting to know each other! She is such a sweet girl! We worked on getting her used to the e-collar today. She was a little unsure about it and would try to rolls around in the grass but soon got used to it. We introduced ‘sit’ and ‘heel’ today and she did really well! We ended the night with a couple of treats. She ate all of her dinner and adjusted really well to her kennel!

Molly worked around other pups and their trainers today! She was really curious and wanted to walk up to all the other dogs. After a while of working on her ‘heel’ and ‘come to sit’ she didn’t bother walking up to the dogs as much. She is doing such a great job with her commands and is learning so quickly! She adjusted well to her kennel and ate all of her food! She took a couple of naps throughout the day and drank plenty of water! When she went potty today. There was what looked like a balloon in her stool. She hasn’t gone potty since but has been eating her food like normal. I will keep you updated if anything else comes out of her stool.

Molly went to El Dorado Park to work on her ‘heel’ and ‘come to sit’. She is doing a lot better and is responding to the e-collar really well! There are a few times when she’ll stop walking and sit but after a bit of coaxing she continues to walk! She is also getting a lot better at passing by people. She doesn’t walk up to them but is really curious at what they’re doing! We ended our training today by introducing the ‘place’ command! She is eating all of her food and is going potty like normal!

Molly worked really well around other trainers and their pups. She seemed less interested in going up to other dogs and people today. She still tried to sneak in a couple of sniffs and would get distracted at times but she did awesome overall. We worked on her ‘heel’ and she’s getting a lot better with less leash pressure. She also got the hang of her ‘come to sit’ really well! Molly is doing amazing and ended the day working on her ‘place’ command. She’s slowly gaining more confidence and is more willing to jump on things.

Molly went to a local park to work on building her confidence. She is doing really well with her ‘heel’ and we were able to walk with a very loose leash all day today! She is getting better with all of her commands and even learned the ‘down’ command. She still needs a bit of leash pressure when doing it but is slowly getting the hang of it. Molly learned how to walk up the stairs as well. She would try to rush up them or at times, stop and was unsure how to walk up. After some work on the stairs, she was a lot more confident and even went up with little to no leash pressure. She is getting more comfortable with the e-collar and responds really well to it! She is such a smart girl and is learning so much!
