Meet Marley! A 4 month old Dachshund from Santa Monica California! She is here because she is not potty trained, gets easily distracted, and needs to learn basic obedience. But she is very affectionate, smart, and super cute! Marley is here for our 3 Week Puppy Board and Train Program! Stay tuned for Marley’s 21 day transformation!

Today Marley and I worked at my house! I just introduced sit to Marley today! She is getting the hang of it and she is a very smart girl! Marley didn’t like the leash being on her neck but we will get her used to it! Marley is adjusting well to her temporary home! I am so excited to see her progress!

Today Marley and I went to the park! Marley and I just worked on her sit and a bit of heel! Marley is getting better with the collar being on her! She does get a little timid of being around new people but over time and taking Marley out more she will get used to new distractions! Marley is getting the hang of sit. We will work on Marley being in a sit for a duration amount of time! Marley has been such a good girl!

Today Marley and I went to Lowe’s! Marley and I worked on her sit, heel, and I did introduce place to her! While we were at Lowe’s Marley did get distracted so we will continue to take her out to help with that! She also got timid when asked to go on place. Marley did get to play with her training pal Teddy! They had such a good time today! Marley has been such a good girl and she is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I went to the Grove! Marley and I worked on her extended sit, heel, and recall! Marley still needs help going into a sit so what I have been doing is putting leash tension up to help her sit! Marley did such a good job today! She also got to play with her pal Teddy! Marley is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I went to the Valencia mall! Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we did focus on her extended sit, recall, and place. Marley does get scared to get onto place objects so we will continue to work on that to build her confidence. I still am using leash tension to help Marley sit but she does seem to be understanding more each day! Marley got to play with her training pal Teddy today! Marley has been such a good girl!

Today Marley and I went to Santa Monica Pier! Marley and I worked on her extended sit, heel, and recall! Marley is a little hard to see if the video but it is only because she is so tiny! Marley did such a good job in her extended sit! She is doing well with distractions! Marley is improving each day we train and she is understanding what is being asked! Marley has been such a good girl!

Today Marley and I went to the Glendale Galleria! Marley and I worked on her heel, recall and extended sit! In this video I asked Marley to be in a sit. I wanted to see if she could stay in an extended sit for a minute but she did break out of the sit so we did it again and I had Marley hold the sit for 45 seconds and she was able to complete that! Marley has been such a good girl and she is improving each day we train!

In this video Marley did need help going into a down so what I did was put leash tension down so Marley could understand with what was being asked. Marley is still learning each command but she is definitely improving each day we train! Marley has been such a good girl!

Today Marley and I went to Century City Mall. Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we did focus on her recall and extended place. In this video when I recalled Marley she sat a little behind me so what I did was take a step forward and guide her to the position she should be in. Also Marley did need some help going into a down. Marley is overall doing a great job and she is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I went to Hollywood walk of fame. Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we focused on her extended down and place. Marley is still needing help when going into a down but she is improving each day we train. In this video when Marley got up from her down what I did is have her go back into a down until being released. Marley has been such a good girl!

Today Marley and I went to Santa Monica Pier! Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we did focus on her down today! In this video when I asked Marley to sit she tried to down so what I did was put leash tension up to keep her in a seated position. Marley did such a good job at Santa Monica with all the distractions. She is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I went to the skate park! Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we focus on her extended down and place. I took Marley to the skatepark because I wanted her to hear loud noises. Marley was not fazed by the skateboards but today was windy and she was more distracted with the wind. Marley has been such a good girl and she is improving each day we train!

In this video when I recalled Marley she was a little to far back so what I did was have Marley redo the come to sit and she did great! Marley has been such a good pup!

Today Marley and I went to Hobby Lobby! Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we did focus on her extended down and recall. We also worked on Marley’s door manner’s today. She did try to sneak out of the door a few times but after correcting Marley and letting her know what her job was she did great! Marley did such a good job today. She is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I went to a park in Pasadena! Marley and I worked on all of her commands today but we did focus on her extended down and place. In this video when I asked Marley to sit in a place she tried to go into a down so what I did was put leash tension upwards so she could sit. Marley worked around other pups today and she did great! Marley is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I worked on all of her commands but we did focus on her recall and extended down. Marley and I also worked on her door manner’s and she did great! What I did was when I opened the door I asked Marley to sit and she needs to stay in that sit until being told a different command. If Marley were to get up what I would have done was have her sit until being released. Marley has been such a good pup and she is improving each day we train!

Today Marley and I worked on all her commands. We also worked on her food manners and she did great. Marley does get super excited to eat so this is hard for her but she is able to complete the command. Marley has been such a good girl. She is so excited to show her family what she learned over the last three weeks!
