Mango, a four year old Goldendoodle, is back with OffLeash SoCal for our two week board and train program. Mango is back to freshen up on her off leash obedience and manners. Her owners say she gets overly excited and jumps on guests, excessively barks when there is someone at the door or doorbell rings, and lacks holding her commands (staying). Today Mango and I went down to Huntington Beach to work on her commands. She did very well. She needed a little touch up on heel, she likes to walk a little ahead of me. We also worked on a new command: Come to Heel (not sure if Mango was previously taught this). It’s a little tricky, but Mango caught on quickly. She had a great first day of training!

Today Mango joined me on a shopping spree at The Citadel Outlet. We practiced her commands around plenty of people distractions. She is getting better with the Come to Heel command. Mango received a few compliments how well behaved she is.

Today Mango and I went to the park to work on her commands. We practiced semi-off leash. I let her drag the leash around while we worked. Mango is doing an awesome job!

Today Mango and I worked on her commands around the neighborhood. She worked pretty much off leash. She continues to do an awesome job with her training! We still need some more work on the Heel command. She does stay at my side, but wants to walk a little bit ahead of me still.

Today Mango and I stayed home to train. We practiced all her commands. She even helped me train her friend, Waverly. She was showing Waverly the ropes on how to be off leash obedient.

Today Mango and I went to Lowes to work on her obedience around distractions. She did very well. Mango received a few compliments on how well behaved she is off leash.

Today Mango and I went to The Citadel Outlet to work on her off leash obedience around distractions. She did great! Mango had a bunch of admirers who watched us while we trained.

Today Mango and I went to the park to work on her off leash obedience around distractions. We met with other OffLeash SoCal trainers and their pups, so Mango was able to work around plenty of dog distractions. I had one of the other trainers work with Mango. Mango did pretty well with the other trainer. Only a few times she tried to walk away from her or lay when told to sit. She did great around the other dogs. She ignored them and followed through with her commands.

Today Mango and her friend, Waverly, joined me on a shopping spree at The Block at Orange. They worked on their off leash obedience together. She was very helpful teaching the puppy how to be off leash around distractions. Mango did an awesome job today!

Today Mango and I went to The Citadel to work on her off leash obedience around distractions. We met with other OffLeash SoCal trainers and their pups, so Mango had plenty of dog distractions to work around. She is a Super Star! She was very focused and obedient. Mango did an amazing job today!

Today Mango and her friends, Coyote and Waverly, joined me on a shopping spree at the Cerritos Mall. It was very busy today, so Mango was able to practice her off leash obe around high distractions. Everyone loved her and her friends. Mango sat politely while kids came up and pet her. She did an awesome job today!

Today Mango and I went to the park to work on her off leash obedience. We met with other OffLeash SoCal trainers and their dogs, so she was able to work around dog distractions. At home we worked on her food manners, door manners, and loading into the car.

Today Mango and I stayed home for training. We practiced all her off leash commands. I used her friends as a distraction while we practiced. Mango was unfazed with all the other dogs running around and playing. She stayed focused and followed all the commands. We worked some more on her door manners. After training I let her join in on the fun and socialize with her friends.

Mango and I went to The Citadel Outlet to work on her off leash obedience around distractions. Like always, she was very well behaved and followed all her commands. She got compliments on her obedience and how adorable she is.

Today Mango and I went down to Huntington Beach to work on her off leas obedience around distractions. It was pretty busy; they were setting up a carnival area and getting Main St. ready for Fourth of July. Mango did a great job with all the noise and commotion going on around us.

Today Mango took the day off from training and spent her last day socializing and playing with her friends before going home tomorrow. She got a bath to be clean when she sees you. Mango can’t wait to go home and show you everything she has learned!
