Lux | American Bully | Glendale, CA | In-Training

Lux, a 10 month old American Bully, has joined Offleash SoCal for a 1 week refresher. Lux previously went through our 2 week board and train program. He tends to not follow commands with high distraction, jump to greet people, and goes potty in the house. Over the week Lux will be working on his off leash obedience and manners around distractions, and potty training. Check in to see his progress!

Today I took Lowe’s to work on his off leash obedience. He did very well heeling past people, walking along side the cart. It’s the sitting or laying still he is having trouble with. In the video, you can see Lux follows the command but gets bored easily and starts to roll or move around. We will keep working on that. He hasn’t had any peeing or marking incidences in his crate or in the house yet.

  1. Today I took Lux over to my cousin‘s house and used her kids as distractions for him. He did a great job of ignoring them while the ran and played around him. They all loved him and couldn’t believe how well behaved he is for 20 mont. He got to make a new doggie friend, Blue the Pit Bull. They both had a great time at the doggie pool day.

Lux with his buddy, Tempe, at the Block at Orange They worked on all commands off leash. He did very well until he saw another dog he wanted to greet. He broke command and ran straight over to the dog. I know it was to go play, but not everyone saw it that way. But I corrected Lux and properly introduced him to the other dog. I haven’t had any issues with the peeing or marking in the house.
