Husky/Aussie Mix - Dog Training | Kuma | Los Angeles, CA

Kuma, a Husky/Aussie Mix from Los Angeles, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal 2 Week Board & Train dog training program. Kuma was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.

Kuma, a 5 month old Husky/Aussie Mix, has joined Offleash SoCal for our 3 week board and train program. Kuma is an energetic little guy that comes to us with typical puppy behavior. He jumps to greet people, steals things off of the table, play bites, doesn’t know how to walk on leash, etc. Over the next 3 weeks Kuma will be working on his offleash obedience and manners. Pupdate 11/8/2020

Today I introduced and conditioned Kuma to the ecollar. We met up with a few of the Offleash SoCal trainers and their dogs to work on commands. We practiced come to sit and walking on the leash. He is starting to get the concept of what I’m asking of him, but its still a work in progress. Not bad for his first day of training though.

Today Kuma and I went to the park to practice commands. We practiced more of the come to sit command and walking on a leash. He's a bit stubborn when it comes to leash walking. He flops around like a fish out of water trying to resist following me. I know he's so used to walking in a harness, its strange to be controlled at his neck. But Kuma is doing good, he eventually got the hang of it.

Today Kuma and his buddies went over to my friends house for a play date by the pool. He made a new friend, Blue the pit bull.

Today Kuma worked on his off leash obedience around the neighborhood. After training we walked over to my family's restaurant for lunch where he practiced duration down with his buddy, Odin. He did a great job with all the people distractions.

Kuma helping me start my Christmas shopping early. Today we went to Cerritos mall and worked on his off leash obedience. he did a great job and everyone loved him!
