Hunter | Bernedoodle | Pico Rivera, CA
Hunter, the Bernedoodle from Pico Rivera, CA went through the OffLeash SoCal Three Week Board & Train Program. Hunter was trained by Chris Louie in Norwalk, CA.
Day of drop off 03/15/2020
Hunter is OffLeash SoCal’s newest 3 week board and train. Boy oh boy, is he a ball of energy. Hunter does not come with an off switch, but he sure does bring a smile to your face. He shows his excitement by jumping, pulling on the leash, and nipping at your face instead of giving kisses. Hunter is a sweet boy that has a lot of potential, and I am excited to start training him.
Hunter is progressing just as expected. Today, he learned some door manners and place. After he trained he was exhausted.
Hunter | Pupdate 03/19/2020
Hunter is out here getting some great distractions walking around the neighborhood. We are working on crossing the street manners, walking by other dogs, and loose leash heeling. Today was a very productive day.
Hunter is officially part of my pack, he is eating and playing with the other pups with ease. Hunter gets plenty of time to play with the other pups, but when it’s time to work he is a different dog. He is focused on his commands, and he aims to please. Hunter is more and more of a joy to have each day.
Hunter loves the rain and with his shaggy hair he becomes a mop. Hopefully tomorrow it’s a little bit more dry so we can tackle some training.
Today we had a puppy play date. With all this bad weather and the world coming to an end Hunter has been working extra hard to stay focused. I give my dogs just as much of a reward as we do work. Hunter is doing great and really coming along well.
We learn as a pack we eat as a pack. Tonight I cooked the pups some chicken because they have all been so good.
Hunter learned how to LOAD up today. Even though I have a big truck, Hunter learned his new command quickly.
Hunter learned the command UNDER today. Under means to sit or lay down UNDER a table or a bench, basically so you can park him when you are eating.
Hunter was able to work with my nephew today. This helps Hunter with being able to work commands with different people.
Hunter was out enjoying the beautiful weather on our daily walk. He has been with me so long he has become a part of me neighborhood, and knows all the dogs who love to bark at him. Hunter is doing great and he will be ready for his graduation.
