Spent the bulk of day one "getting to know each other". Havoc hung out in his kennel with the door open most of the day. By dinner time he was hungry, so I had fed him, to help earn his trust.

Today we have been heeling all over La Habra and the Heights. I like to start with the prong collar and progress to the E-Collar after a day or so. This is three hours of off and on work today. Not a bad start.

Pupdate 11/05/2019 Afternoon

Henry is twelve years old and definitely not a dog trainer, lol. Just wanted to illustrate that Havoc's pulling is starting to go away. He has also started to figure out how to climb into the car.

Havoc had a great day heeling around Long Beach. Obviously he was amazing without distractions, but that isn't good enough. We went to Belmont Shore and he rocked! Stopped and sat at every corner, was greeted by half a dozen strangers, and even managed to deal with the construction at a new El Polo Loco. Today was a good day.

Out to dinner with the kids. Havoc has been meeting plenty of new people and doing very well.

This sweet boy was SO tired from working in the AM. He was like this for a couple of hours mid-day.

Havoc's first off leash experience.

Just a little pre-holiday shopping with Havoc.

What can you say when you put in a full day doing downs, sits, stranger greetings, and off leash heeling? "Take me home, I'm tired!"

Havoc has been knocking the off leash heel out of the park, so we are spending so time trying to clean up more difficult tasks. Send away to place can be useful when guests are over, or if there is a delivery person at the door who is afraid of dogs. Sending Havoc to place and out of your way make for an easier time.

Havoc and I went to the Santa Monica Pier today. He did very well (yes, there will be video) on a leash with all the people, etc. that the Pier has. Havoc, however, hates the ocean! The craziest thing is he was afraid of the noise that the ocean makes.

3rd Street Promenade for some much needed retail therapy.

Havoc was on the pre-red carpet at the Asian World Film festival in culver city.

Oso is actually cleaning Havoc's ear- gross!

Both of the boys waiting to be let in for breakfast. I didn't mean to imply that Havoc doesn't like other dogs. He and Oso are buddies, and Braxton (5 month Boxer) is starting to play with the big boys. Havoc doesn't like being ALONE. Inside or outside, he would rather have company.
