Meet Goose, a sweet, goofy, playful 11 month old Miniature Australian Shepherd from Hermosa, CA! He is joining us for a Two Week Board and Train Program. During his stay, Goose will be working on leash manners, basic obedience, greeting manners, and minor reactivity towards other dogs. Stay tuned for his two week transformation!

Today Goose and I went for a couple walks through out the day. This was to make sure he got acclimated to me and to prevent any unsureness! During our walks I would let him explore his surroundings and get used to everything! He did very well and even wanted to cuddle during out outing! Goose is VERY smart and even sat down when asked! Tomorrow we will be starting his training and introducing Goose to some of his commands! Stay tuned!
Pupdate 2/7/22
Today Goose and I went on an early morning walk around the neighborhood and worked on Heel, Down, Come. He was very eager and paid attention! While I was working on the down command, I noticed that Goose LOVES to roll on his back. To prevent this behavior, I would just lift slightly on his collar to get him into the correct position! Later in the day we went to Camarillo Park and worked on Place and Come! Goose is a very smart pup and learns very quickly! I also worked on some duration while Goose was on Place! I am very happy with his first full day and can’t wait to see his progress blossom!
Pupdate 2/8/22
Today Goose and I started the morning with a walk around the neighborhood to work on Heel, Down, and Come! He is responding very well to training and is very eager to learn! Later on we went a park and worked on Heel and Down while working around another dog. I wanted him to understand that even though there might be something/someone nearby, that he still needs to pay attention! He was even able to stay calm and in a Down command while being greeted! Later on in the day we worked on Place in my residence while I did some work around the house! Goose did pretty good and only broke his command twice! So far Goose is doing very well with his training!

Today Goose and I started the day with a morning walk! We worked on letting Goose drag the longline while we worked! He was very well behaved during our session! Later we went to an outdoor mall and continued working on his commands while letting him drag his longline! Later we worked on place in my home while I had my personal dogs around! He was very well behaved!
Pupdate 2/10/22
Today Goose and I started our morning with a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood and primarily worked on Heel, Place, Down, and Come. During our walk, I let Goose drag his leash because I wanted him to transition to being offleash! Later in the day we went to an outdoor mall and worked on Heel, Place, Come, and Down! He did very well and is getting better at not letting distractions break his focus!

Today Goose and I worked primarily on his reliability with commands! We started as always on a walk around the neighborhood and worked on Heel, Down, Come, and sit! Goose did very well and was really sharp with his commands! Later we went to a tennis court to practice Goose’s commands offleash! He did very well overall and makes improvements each day!

Today Goose and I went on our morning walk and worked on Heel, Down, Come, and Place! He did very well and his heel is very sharp! We also went to Westfield Mall and worked on having Goose practice his commands offleash. He did fairly well during out session! While we were there, someone had a pony on a lead walking through! I took the opportunity and worked Goose near the pony! He did very well and only showed curiosity! So far very good progress today!

Today Goose and I started our morning with a typical structured walk where we worked on Heel, Down, Come, and Place! He was very well behaved and performed each command! Later in the day we went to Northridge Mall and worked on his Down while lots of people and strollers went by! He was trying to anticipate my release word but remained until given! Very proud of his progress! Also wanted to note that he is having issues going to the bathroom outside even when given plenty of time. He will just wait until back in the crate before relieving himself.

Today Goose and I started the morning with a structured walk. We worked on consistency with all of his commands! He was really good and very sharp! Later on we met up with a few other trainers at the Citadel Outlets! While we were there, I had one of the male trainers work with Goose to help him get used to men and also transferability! I wanted to make sure that even though I was right there with him, that Goose had to listen to whomever is working him in the moment! He did amazing and was very responsive to the other trainer! Goose is doing amazing and is making huge progress!!
Pupdate 2/15/22
Today Goose and I did our usual structured morning walk! During the walk we worked on strengthening all of his commands! He did amazing and was very focused and sharp! We then met up with another trainer at a park. While we were there, I just mainly let Goose relax for a bit since he has been such a great boy and doing amazing with his training! Afterwards we went to Oxnard and worked on fine-tuning everything! Goose was very on top of all of his commands and was very fast at responding! Im very happy with his progress!

Today Goose and I started our morning with a walk around the neighborhood to work on strengthening his commands! He has been so sharp with all of his commands and is being such a good boy! Later we went to The Grove and practiced working on all that he has learned! He was very well behaved and performed all of his commands perfectly!

This morning Goose and I took a quick walk around the neighborhood and worked on sit, down, heel, and place! Goose has made huge progress in his training and performs extremely well! Later on we took a relaxing trip to a tennis court that had a big grass field and worked on all of Goose’s commands while offleash! I’m very proud of Goose and his achievements!

Today Goose and I started our morning routine by going on an offleash walk around the neighborhood! I primarily worked on his heel, come, and down while also letting him smell around and explore! Goose has made huge progress and is so responsive to his commands! Later in the day we went to the Promenade in Santa Monica. While there, we worked on heel, place, come, and down! We even worked on greeting manners! He did fantastic with everything and performed all of his commands! Im extremely proud of Goose!

Today Goose and I had a relaxing walk around the neighborhood and worked on heel, sit, down, and come. Goose was very well behaved and performed all of his commands very sharply! Later on we stopped by an outdoor mall where we worked on duration with his commands! He was very on top of everything and made no mistakes! Im extremely excited with Goose and how far he has come!
