Foxy is with us for boarding! She's a great dog who has been with us for training, and I am looking forward to having her!

I picked up Foxy today and we headed straight to the park to get to know each other and see what she remembered from her training. There were quite a few distractions around us, including a pickup soccer game and a baseball game, but Foxy did a great job staying responsive to her commands. She showed me pretty quickly that she’s got a solid foundation, and I really feel like she’s already starting to like me!
Once we got home, I helped Foxy get settled in and comfortable in her new environment. She adjusted nicely and has already started to relax, which is always great to see on day one.
Foxy has been an absolute pleasure to have so far, and I’m really looking forward to spending more time working with her and continuing her progress!

Foxy and I had a great day together! We started our morning off at the park, where she did an awesome job and continued to impress me with how well she responds and carries herself. She’s been so consistent, and it really shows in how smoothly our sessions go.
After that, we kept things more relaxed and spent the rest of the day going on a few walks. Foxy was a joy to have by my side, calm, responsive, and just overall great company.
I truly love spending time with her, and she continues to make every day a fun and rewarding experience!
Foxy had another fun day with me! We’ve been finding great ways to work on her commands while keeping everything light, engaging, and enjoyable for her, and she’s been loving it.
One thing I noticed today is that her Heel position isn’t quite as tight as I’d like it to be just yet. A big part of that comes from a slight misunderstanding of when to “put on the brakes” as she comes into position. To help with this, we’ve been working on calling her into Heel from a Sit or Down, with the expectation that she slows herself down and lands right where she should be.
The good news is that Foxy shows great proficiency with this exercise! She’s clearly capable and picks up on what I’m asking quickly. The only challenge is that she’s also very quick to switch into playful mode, which honestly is something I love about her. She brings a really fun energy to our sessions.
What I especially appreciate about Foxy is that she seems to understand the difference between work time and play time. She’s able to engage seriously when needed, but also lets her personality shine through, which makes training her a really enjoyable experience.
Overall, another great day with Foxy!

Foxy had another fine day with me! She got her exercise in both the morning and evening, giving her a great balance of activity and structure to start and end the day. Throughout our sessions, she did super well with her commands and manners, showing consistency and a solid understanding of what’s being asked of her.
In between all the activity, Foxy also enjoyed plenty of rest and relaxation, which is just as important. She’s been doing a great job settling down and staying calm in the home, showing that she can switch off nicely after working.
Overall, Foxy seems happy and healthy, and I’ve truly loved having her around. She’s been a joy to work with and spend time with!

Foxy had another fun day with me and behaved very well! We spent most of our time at the park, enjoying the environment while continuing to reinforce her training. She did a great job staying engaged with me and following through on her commands, even with the usual park distractions around.
It’s always nice to see Foxy balance having fun with staying responsive, and she’s doing a great job of that. Overall, a really solid day for her!

Foxy had a really nice, well-balanced day today! We spent part of our time relaxing at home, including some quiet time to just unwind and even a little time spent praying together, which she handled calmly and comfortably. She settled in nicely and seemed to really enjoy the slower pace.
We also got some work in outdoors, where Foxy did a great job staying engaged and responsive. She handled everything I asked of her well and maintained a good attitude throughout. It’s always great to see her able to switch between relaxing at home and focusing when it’s time to work.
Overall, Foxy had a fun and successful day. She was well-behaved, easy to work with, and seemed to genuinely enjoy our time together!

Foxy and I had another fun day together at the park working on her Place command! This is one of my favorite exercises with her because it gives her a great mix of both physical and mental stimulation. She gets to move, think, and stay engaged all at the same time, which is perfect for her.
Foxy did a great job jumping into the exercise and staying involved with me throughout our session. She continues to show a good understanding of what’s being asked of her, and it’s always fun to see her enjoy the work while still making progress.
Overall, it was another great day with Foxy, she worked hard, had fun, and continues to impress me every day!

Foxy and I had another fun day together at the park! We spent most of our time walking around the ponds and open fields, giving her a nice mix of exercise and time to take in her surroundings.
Foxy did a great job staying relaxed and enjoying the outing, and it was clear she was having a good time just exploring and being out and about. Days like this are awesome for building her confidence while keeping things low-pressure and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a really good day for Foxy, and I’m very happy with how she did!

Foxy and I had a fun and relaxing day together today! We spent some time enjoying a mix of playtime, walks, and working on her commands, which made for a really nice balance of activity and downtime.
As usual, Foxy was very well behaved throughout the day and a joy to have around. She continues to show that she understands her commands and is happy to work, while also knowing how to settle and just enjoy the moment.

Foxy had a really fun and successful day today! We met up with several other trainers and their dogs at the park, which gave her plenty of opportunities to be around new people, dogs, and activity.
She handled everything very well and seemed to really enjoy herself! Foxy stayed well behaved throughout our time there and did a great job being around the other dogs without any issues. It was awesome to see her stay relaxed and engaged while still having fun.
Overall, it was a great day for Foxy, and I’m really happy with how well she carried herself in such a social environment!

Foxy had another fun and well-balanced day today, spending time both at home and at the park! She was a pleasure to work with in both environments and carried herself very nicely throughout the day.
At home, she was calm and easy to have around, and out at the park she continued to show good behavior while enjoying the change of scenery. She’s been very consistent, which is always great to see!
Overall, no complaints at all, Foxy did a great job today and continues to be a joy to work with!

Foxy and I stepped things up a bit today and had a really fun training session! We focused on longer-distance recalls, adding a bit more challenge and excitement to the exercise.
She did an amazing job, as usual! Foxy was quick to respond, came in with great enthusiasm, and showed that she’s really understanding what’s being asked of her—even at a distance. It was great to see her stay engaged and reliable while giving her a bit more freedom.
Overall, it made for a super fun and rewarding session. Foxy continues to impress and make everything look easy!

Foxy didn’t let a little rain slow her down today! Despite the wet start to our morning, she handled our walks like a champ and stayed in great spirits. Foxy had another great day today! We kept things fun and relaxed with plenty of playtime at the park, which she absolutely loves. She was in her element out there, enjoying herself and soaking up the time outside.
Behavior-wise, she was just as solid as ever—no issues to note and nothing to complain about! She continues to be a joy to work with and makes each day easy and enjoyable.

Today we switched things up a bit and spent most of our time in a different part of the park, which made for a nice change of pace! Foxy handled the new area well and seemed to enjoy exploring while still staying engaged.
She was easy to work with as always, and we kept things relaxed while still getting some good work in. It’s been great seeing her consistency day to day—she really just shows up and does her thing.

Foxy had a fun and exciting day today as we explored a brand new park together! She really seemed to enjoy the change of scenery and took everything in stride, making it a great experience for both of us. She handled the new environment well and kept a positive, happy attitude throughout our time there.
After our adventure, we headed home where Foxy enjoyed a well-earned nap to recharge. Once she was rested, we continued on with our day just as smoothly. All in all, it was a really great day for us both—Foxy continues to be such a joy to work with!

Foxy and I had a low-key, relaxing day today! We spent most of our time taking slow walks and enjoying a calm pace together, then settled in at home with some nice Place time. She clearly enjoyed the change of pace and did a great job showing that she can relax and unwind just as well as she can stay active.
It’s always nice to see Foxy comfortable and content on these slower days—she handled it perfectly and made it a really enjoyable day for both of us!

Foxy had a great day today! We made a couple trips over to the park, where she got plenty of exercise and enjoyed some fun playtime. She was her usual awesome self, staying relaxed and well-behaved the whole time. Even when another dog started barking at us, Foxy didn’t pay it any mind and stayed completely composed. Really proud of her—great job, Foxy!

Foxy had another great day at the park! She got to spend some time with a few dog friends and clearly had a blast enjoying the extra social time and play. It’s always nice to see her interacting so well and staying friendly and relaxed around other dogs. Throughout it all, she remained well-behaved, listened nicely, and didn’t give me any issues. She’s doing a great job balancing having fun with keeping her manners in check. Awesome work today, Foxy!

Foxy got to head back out to the park today, this time with my dog, and they’re starting to build a really nice relationship! They get along well, and working both of them together has been a lot of fun. We balanced things out with both playtime and structured work, and Foxy did a great job staying engaged even with the added distraction of another dog around.
We had a little bit of drizzle here and there, but it never turned into real rain, so we were still able to spend plenty of time outside. Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day, and Foxy continues to impress with how well she handles both fun and focus. Great job today, Foxy!

Today was all about teamwork! Foxy spent more time working alongside another dog, and she really rose to the occasion. She did a great job staying engaged and trying her best, even with the added challenge of sharing my attention.
Honestly, the trickiest part today was on me as the handler—making sure each girl clearly understood what I was asking of them at any given moment. To help keep things clear, I used different languages for their commands (my dog knows some French), which made a noticeable difference. Foxy also knows her name very well, so I was often able to cue her just by saying it first, which helped her stay tuned in. On top of that, using distinct hand signals for each dog went a long way—my dog is already used to subtle signs, but with Foxy, using bigger, more exaggerated gestures really helped her understand what I wanted.
The biggest challenge for Foxy today was navigating movement between me and my dog during Heel and recall exercises. That’s not an easy task, especially with another dog so close, but she worked through it and kept trying. I’m really happy with how she handled herself and pushed through the tougher moments.

Foxy had another nice, low-key day today! We kept things simple by sticking around the neighborhood and going on a few relaxed walks throughout the day. She enjoyed getting out and exploring, but also showed how well she can settle in and take it easy at home. It’s always great to see that balance between having fun and being able to relax. Foxy had a nice balanced day today! We made it over to the park in the morning, where she got to enjoy some fresh air, movement, and a bit of fun to start things off right. Later on, the weather shifted and we had some on-and-off drizzle throughout the afternoon, so we took that as a cue to slow things down and spend more time indoors.
Foxy handled the change of pace really well, showing she’s just as capable of relaxing inside as she is being active outside. Whether she was out exploring or settling in for a calmer afternoon, she kept a great attitude and made the most of both parts of her day. Another good day in the books for Foxy!

Foxy had another great day today! We started things off with a nice trip to the park this morning, where she got to enjoy the fresh air, stretch her legs, and spend some quality time exploring and having fun. She carried herself well and seemed to really enjoy being out and about.
After our park time, we took things a bit easier for the rest of the day. Foxy got some well-earned rest at home and joined me for a few relaxed walks around the neighborhood. She did a nice job settling in between outings while still staying engaged and happy during our walks.
Overall, it was a well-balanced day filled with both activity and relaxation—just the kind of day Foxy thrives on. Another full and fun day in the books!

Foxy had another great day working around other dogs and trainers! She handled the added distractions really well and continued to show nice focus and composure throughout our sessions. It’s always great seeing her apply what she’s been learning in more dynamic environments, and she rose to the occasion nicely today.
I did notice a bit of irritation on her nose, which I suspect is from her poking it through the holes in her crate at night. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her at all right now, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t worsen. On a positive note, her stomach has continued to do great, which is always nice to see!
Overall, another solid, productive day for Foxy!

Foxy had a big, exciting day today! We met up with several other trainers and worked around even more dogs, and she handled it all like a pro. She stayed composed, focused, and showed off just how well she’s been progressing with her training. It’s always great to see her succeed in busier environments, and today was no exception.
After putting in some solid work, Foxy got to enjoy some well-earned playtime, which she absolutely loved. She had a blast letting loose and having fun after staying so dialed in during training. Overall, it was another fantastic day full of both structure and fun—great job, Foxy!

Foxy had a fun and fulfilling day today! While we didn’t get to meet up with our usual friends, that didn’t slow us down one bit. We spent plenty of time working together and mixing in lots of play, which Foxy absolutely loved. She stayed engaged, had a great attitude, and did a wonderful job throughout the day.

Foxy had another fun and productive day! We met up with more friends at the park, giving her plenty of great exposure around other dogs, and she handled it all very well. We also spent some time near some baseball and softball games, which added a whole new layer of sights and sounds, but Foxy stayed calm, focused, and well-behaved throughout.
The irritated spot on her nose is continuing to improve, it’s shrinking and looking much better, and it doesn’t seem to be bothering her at all. Aside from that, she’s doing awesome overall and continues to be a joy to work with. Great job today, Foxy!

Foxy had such a fun and eventful day at the park today! There was so much going on all around us—from soccer games to baseball—and it made for a great training environment with plenty of distractions. Despite all the activity, Foxy handled everything like a pro and stayed well-behaved throughout the day.
She got to enjoy the excitement while still staying focused and making great choices, which is exactly what we want to see. We mixed in some fun along with our work, and Foxy clearly had a blast being out and about.

We got an early start to the day today, heading out once the rain had cleared, and Foxy was more than ready to enjoy the fresh air! Everything felt nice and calm after the weather, which made for a really pleasant outing.
From there, Foxy settled right into her usual routine. She had a nice balance of activity and relaxation, enjoying her normal day just the way she likes it. Whether we were out and about or taking it easy, she stayed happy, comfortable, and right in sync with the flow of the day.

At the park, she was calm, easygoing, and enjoyed taking in everything around us while staying well-mannered. Afterward, we spent the rest of the day relaxing at home, where Foxy continued to be her sweet, easy companion self.

Foxy went out today with a new friend, and she behaved very well! Even when her new buddy wanted to play and Foxy wasn’t interested, she stayed calm and handled the situation nicely. Foxy was also a huge help during training today, as she set a great example with her Heel command and helped guide the other dog through some of the exercises. She stayed focused, composed, and easy to work with throughout the outing. I’m very happy with how well Foxy carried herself today!

Foxy and I spent more time working alongside her new friend today, and once again, she was an amazing partner! Foxy continued to set a great example with her calm behavior, focus, and willingness to work around another dog. She handled everything very naturally and helped create a productive training environment for both dogs.
What stood out most today was Foxy’s happy and positive attitude. She seemed to really enjoy herself while still staying engaged and responsive throughout our time together. It’s always great to see a dog who can balance having fun while also staying focused on the task at hand, and Foxy did exactly that today.
She continues to impress me with how steady and reliable she is in different situations, and her upbeat personality makes working with her a pleasure. Great job today, Foxy!

Foxy and I headed over to Albion Riverside Park today, where we spent time working and playing while watching some more soccer games! All the activity around us definitely got Foxy a little excited at times, but she still remained her usual well behaved self for the majority of the day. She handled the distractions nicely, stayed fun to work with, and overall had another really solid day. We had a great time together today, and Foxy continues to impress me with her positive attitude and good behavior!

Foxy and I met up with some other trainers and their dogs at the park today! As usual, Foxy was very fun to work with and extremely well behaved around all the activity. She handled the environment calmly and seemed happy to be part of the group while still staying relaxed and easygoing throughout our time there.
After our fun outing at the park, we headed back home where Foxy got to enjoy some more play time along with plenty of relaxation time. She’s been doing a great job balancing her energy, knowing when it’s time to have fun and when it’s time to settle down and relax. Overall, it was another very enjoyable day with Foxy!

Foxy and I had a nice, relaxing day together today! We spent time out and about around the neighborhood, along with plenty of indoor playtime and relaxation.
We also introduced a puzzle toy today! It took Foxy a little while to decide it was worth interacting with, and she often preferred focusing her attention on me instead, which was pretty cute. But after some encouragement, she seemed to start understanding the game and enjoying herself with it. I think it may become something she really likes as we continue working with it, so we’ll see how her interest grows over time!

Foxy and I had a nice relaxed day together today! We spent time out and about enjoying some walks through the neighborhood, and Foxy was happy as usual to take everything in along the way. Back at home, she enjoyed some playtime and plenty of time to relax and hang out.

Foxy had another fun-filled day today as we spent most of our time at the park! It was an especially exciting environment with all kinds of sports going on around us, including soccer and baseball games, which gave us plenty to watch throughout the day. Foxy really seemed to enjoy being out and about, taking everything in while spending time together outside. She stayed happy and well behaved as we explored the busy park atmosphere, making it another enjoyable day for her full of fresh air, activity, and fun experiences!

After that, we spent the rest of the day relaxing at home and going on walks while avoiding the hottest part of the afternoon. Foxy and I went to the mall today! She was a little more antsy than usual since she didn’t get as much time to run around and play like she does at the park, but she still behaved very well overall and seemed to enjoy the outing.
Even with all the extra excitement and activity around us, Foxy stayed pretty well mannered throughout our trip and did a nice job hanging out in a busier environment. While she definitely would’ve preferred a few zoomies mixed in, she still had a fun day getting out and about with me!

Foxy and I made another trip to the mall today! She had a fun day getting out and about, and overall she handled the busy environment very nicely. We spent some time walking around and even did a little shopping with her alongside us. Foxy got plenty of attention throughout the outing thanks to both her sweet personality and good behavior, and she handled all the extra excitement pretty well.
After the mall, we headed over to the park in the evening so she could relax and enjoy some playtime after spending time in the more structured environment. She had lots of fun getting to unwind and enjoy herself while still staying easy to handle and responsive. Foxy was a very good girl today and had another fun, successful day out with us!

Foxy had another fun-filled day today! We made a few trips to the park throughout the day, which she absolutely loved. She got plenty of exercise, time to explore, and lots of opportunities to enjoy herself outdoors. By the time we got back home, Foxy was definitely ready for a well-earned nap after such a busy day! Even though it was a long day for her, she stayed happy and had fun the entire time. She’s been doing great and continues to be such a joy to have around!

Foxy went to the groomer today and had a great experience! She behaved very well throughout her visit, and now her coat is looking better than ever. She also got her nails trimmed, so she’s feeling extra fresh and clean! Foxy came home super soft, happy, and clearly pleased with all the pampering she got today. Afterward, she and my dog spent the afternoon playing together and burning off some energy, which made for an especially fun end to her day. Foxy had a really good day all around!

Foxy and I visited a quiet little park today, and she had just as much fun as ever! The calmer environment made for a really relaxing outing, and we spent our time mixing in a little bit of work with plenty of play. Foxy stayed happy and engaged throughout the day, enjoying the chance to explore, stretch her legs, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. After getting some exercise and having fun together, she was one happy pup by the end of the day!

Foxy had a fun-filled day at the park today! We spent lots of time running around, playing, and working on commands throughout the day. Foxy stayed engaged and had a great attitude while training, and she definitely enjoyed all the activity and attention. After all the exercise and fun, she was one happy pup by the end of the day!

Foxy had another great day with us today! We made a couple trips to the park and enjoyed the cool weather, which Foxy always seems to love. She had a fun time exploring, getting some exercise, and relaxing outside while the weather stayed nice and comfortable. After our outings, Foxy spent the rest of her day hanging out and enjoying herself as usual. Another fun and happy day for this sweet girl!

Foxy enjoyed another great day with plenty of exercise, playtime, and good behavior! We stayed active throughout the day, making sure she got lots of opportunities to move around, have fun, and continue practicing her good habits. Foxy has been doing a wonderful job and continues to be a pleasure to have around. She’s settled into a nice routine, stays in good spirits, and is always ready for whatever activity comes next. I'm still very happy with her progress and behavior, and she continues to make each day enjoyable!

Foxy had a quieter and more relaxed day today, which she seemed to enjoy! We spent our time going on walks around the neighborhood and taking things at a slower pace. While our day was more laid-back, there was still some excitement along the way, as a few neighborhood parties were happening and provided plenty of sights, sounds, and activity for Foxy to check out during our walks.
Foxy handled the extra commotion well and enjoyed getting out to explore. Between her walks and time spent relaxing at home, she had a nice balance of activity and rest today. Overall, it was a pleasant day for Foxy, and she seemed happy and content throughout it!

Foxy and I went to the park today, and there was plenty going on for us to check out! With lots of activity around, it gave us a great opportunity to practice staying calm and focused while enjoying our time outside. Foxy did a great job throughout the day, taking everything in stride and staying well-behaved despite all the distractions.
We spent our time exploring, getting some exercise, and simply having fun together. Foxy was happy, engaged, and a pleasure to spend the day with. She continues to do a wonderful job, and we both had a lot of fun at the park today!

Foxy had a big day today with her first veterinary desensitization session! Our goal with these visits is to help her build positive associations with the vet's office and become more comfortable in that environment over time. Everyone at the clinic was wonderful with her and made the experience as positive as possible.
Foxy was definitely a little anxious at times, which is completely normal for a new experience like this, but she was also very excited and playful with the staff. She enjoyed meeting new people and showed off her sweet, friendly personality throughout the visit. While she wasn't fully relaxed yet, this was an excellent first step and gave us a great foundation to build on.
As we continue these sessions, we'll focus on helping Foxy feel calmer and more confident during her visits. She did a great job today, and I'm proud of the effort she put into working through something that can be challenging for her!

Foxy had another fun day today! We headed back to the park so she could enjoy some fresh air, exercise, and a change of scenery after her vet visit yesterday. She was happy to be out and about, taking everything in and enjoying her day.
Back at home, Foxy got plenty of playtime with my dog, which was definitely one of the highlights of her day! The two of them had a great time together, burning off some energy and having fun. After all the excitement, Foxy was ready to relax and unwind. She’s been doing great and continues to be a joy to have around!

Foxy had another great day today! We stuck to our usual routine, spending some time at the park enjoying the fresh air before heading home for some rest, playtime, and relaxation. She continues to do a nice job balancing her energy levels, happily joining in on activities and then settling down when it's time to relax.
For today's video, I'm showing off one of Foxy's favorite activities: her treat puzzle! She absolutely loves this thing and has gotten pretty skilled at figuring out where all the hidden goodies are. It's great mental enrichment for her, and it's fun to watch her work through each challenge. Plus, she looks extra cute concentrating so hard while she searches for every last treat! Foxy had another fun-filled day and is doing great!

Foxy had her vet appointment today, and I’m very proud of how she handled it! She started off her usual excited self, eager to greet everyone and take in all the activity around her. Fortunately, the veterinarian happened to be a former dog trainer and approached Foxy in a way that really set her up for success.
Instead of encouraging excitement or engaging in play, the vet kept everything calm, structured, and focused on obedience skills, very similar to how we work with Foxy in public places like the mall. By using commands and routines that Foxy already knows and feels confident with, she was able to settle down and navigate the appointment in a much more relaxed state of mind.
As a result, Foxy was noticeably calmer, more cooperative, and much more comfortable being handled throughout the examination. It was wonderful to see her realize that a vet visit doesn't have to be stressful and that she can stay calm while still having a positive experience.
This was a huge win for Foxy and a great step forward in building her confidence and comfort at the vet. Great job, Foxy!

Foxy and I headed to her next vet visit today! She was excited to be there, but she did a great job settling down while we waited for her appointment. The exam itself went pretty well, and I was happy to see some progress from our previous visits. There are still a few areas where Foxy can continue to improve, though, especially when it comes to handling around her rear end.
The biggest challenge during the exam was anything involving her tail or hindquarters. To help with this, I've been practicing gentle handling exercises at home, including holding her calmly and touching her tail to build positive associations and desensitize her to those interactions. The work is definitely paying off, and I can already see improvement compared to before. While she still has some room to grow, today's visit showed that she's moving in the right direction. Great job, Foxy!
