Today Diana and I went to the park to work on her commands. We met with a few other OffLeash SoCal trainers and their dogs, so Diana had some dog distractions to work around. She was a bit nervous and wanted to hide behind me at first. Once we started practicing her commands she settled down and was able to focus. We worked on her Come to Sit, Down, and Place. We started working on her Heel command as well. It is still a work in progress, but she is doing much better at walking by my side and focusing on where I am going.

Today Diana and I went to the park to work on her commands. We worked on her duration and distance. She does well at holding her commands, until I try distancing myself from her. She wants to stay at my side, so she will break command and come running to me. I know Diana can be a little nervous in new surroundings. The more we practice, the more confident she will become.

Today Diana and I went to Lowes to work on her commands around distractions. She did very well. She was able to practice her commands semi-off leash. I let her drag the leash around while we practiced. We also worked on a new command, Come to Heel. She wasn’t a big fan of the wobbly cart, but I we practiced the place command until she was confident to hop onto it. We just need to tighten up a few of her commands and Diana will be ready to work completely off leash.

Today Diana and I went to the park to work on her off leash obedience. One of our new OffLeash trainers assisted me with training Diana. Diana is a bit shy when it comes to being around new people. She wasn't very trusting of him in the beginning and didn't want to follow commands, but once she realized he had yummy treats she warmed right up to him and started following her commands. Diana is doing a great job with her obedience. We just need to build up her confidence when being around or greeting new people.

Diana and I met with other OffLeash trainers and their dogs, so she was able to practice around dog distractions as well.

Today Diana took the day off from training and spent the day socializing and playing with her friends before she goes home tomorrow. I gave her a bath so she could be clean when she sees you, but it didn't last long. She wrestled around with her buddies getting dirty again. Diana can't wait to go home and show you everything she has learned!
