Dakota, a 9 month old Bernedoodle, has joined OffLeash SoCal for our 3 week board and train program. Dakota is a very sweet girl who loves every dog and person she meets. She comes to us with some naughty habits: digging, chewing things she’s not suppose to, jumping onto the counters to steal food, easily distracted and lack of following commands. Over the next 3 weeks Dakota will be working on her off leash obedience and manners. Check in to see her progress!
Today i introduced and conditioned Dakota to the ecollar. We practiced commands Place and Sit. She did very well for her first day of training. She is a fast learner. Dakota is having a great time with all her new friends!
Today Dakota and I went to the park to work on her commands. We practiced place and sit. We started working on her loose leash heel. Still a work in progress, but she is doing a lot better. She was a bit distracted and nervous in the beginning with the new surroundings and other dogs that were at the park, but settled down and began to focus and follow commands. I did notice she had some soft stool today at the park. It could be because she was a little nervous. I will keep an eye on it and see how she is feeling tomorrow.
Today Dakota and I worked on her training at home. We practiced sit, place, and heel. We also started working on the down command. Her tummy still isn’t right, she still is having some soft stool. i added some probiotics to her kibble to help.
