Crosby, an 8 month old Poodle Mix, went through Balanced Canine Training SoCal's 1 week Board and Train Dog Training Program. Crosby was trained by dog trainer Oliver Dunn, in Corona, CA.

Crosby is a sweet little guy, but definitely needs some help with leash manners. He loves to bark and lunge at people. Crosby will be here learning how to interact nicely on leash for the next week!

First day at camp is going well! He ate all of his dinner, and we went for a nice walk around the neighborhood. He pulled on the leash in a different directions for a while, but after a bit he started to get the hang of sticking by my side.

Practicing sit! We had a nice walk around the neighborhood, and he ate all his breakfast but didn't wanna finish his dinner. He's made great progress with holding sit for a longer duration, but his down needs work.

Pupdate 10/31/2019 Happy Howl-o-ween
Today we went back to the Home Depot to work around more distractions. His heel is good, but he still needs work holding commands around distractions, and placing on different textures. He does great with the place cot, but not so much with door mats, raised platforms, etc, so we'll be working on that more. He's been a little whiney the past few days, but he's eating regularly now.
