Chula, a Standard Poodle from Los Angeles went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Board & Train Dog Training Program. Chula was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.

Chula, a 5 month old standard poodle, has joined us for our two week board and train program. She is a sweet and docile girl that needs a little work on her obedience and leash manners. Her family says she likes to jump when greeting people and pull on the leash when going on a walk. Stand by for Chula’s transformation.

Today we went to Lowe’s to stay out of the rain and work on commands. Chula is doing very well with the heel command and becoming more confident placing on new objects. Down command is still a work in progress.

Today the rain kept us from going out, but didn’t stop us from working and having some fun. Chula loves playing in the rain. we warmed up and practiced place, by the fire, after being out In the cold.

Day 3 of not going to the bathroom in the house. She finally has a routine down. 7:00am morning potty, eat 1st meal, go out to work on commands, come home go potty again, eat 2nd meal and potty again, then bedtime. Chula made sure I took a picture on her good side, while posing at the mall.

Chula practiced duration down while we went out for lunch. After, Chula went to get pampered at the groomers. She’s now clean and fluffy and looking cute with her bow and bandana. The rest of the evening Chula worked on being off leash in public.

Chula and her friend, Zia, hanging out in Hollywood. They did great with all the loud noises and high distractions. They heeled through crowds of people, practiced duration down in the crowds, and practiced place on new and more difficult place objects.
