Charlie is back for boarding, and I'm happy to have the cute little guy back for a while!

I'm happy to have Charlie back with me for boarding! He's settling in nicely and has been doing well since arriving. Since he's still recovering from his surgery, he'll be wearing his cone as needed, and I'll be keeping a close eye on him throughout his stay to make sure he's healing comfortably and not bothering the surgical site.
We'll be taking things a little easier while he recovers, but he'll still get plenty of attention, enrichment, and supervised time with me. I'm looking forward to having Charlie back, and I'll make sure he has a safe, comfortable, and relaxing boarding stay while he continues to heal!

Charlie and I had another great day together! He's been in a wonderful mood and has handled wearing his cone much better than I expected. It certainly hasn't slowed him down too much, and he's been happy to hang out, practice his commands, and enjoy the day with me.
I think we're both looking forward to tomorrow when he can finally ditch the cone! It'll be nice to have him back to his full, unrestricted self, but in the meantime he's been a fantastic sport and continues to be a pleasure to have around. I'm excited for another fun day together tomorrow!

Today's Pupdate for Charlie was another good one! We spent most of the day trying to avoid the heat, and I'm happy to report that his cone was off for most of the day without any issues. Having it off gave him much more room around his neck for his slip lead and e-collar, making our walks a bit more comfortable for both of us.
Charlie was definitely excited to have the cone off and was a little eager on our walks, often getting just ahead of me. It turned into a great training opportunity, though, and we spent that time practicing his Heel command. With a few reminders, he settled in nicely and walked much more politely by my side. Overall, Charlie had a great day, and it was nice to see him feeling more comfortable and happy as he continues to recover!

Charlie and I had another great day together! We visited the park in both the morning and the evening to avoid the hottest part of the day, giving us plenty of opportunities to explore while practicing his commands. He was happy to get out and about, and it was fun seeing him enjoy our walks.
I'm happy to report that Charlie seems to remember all of his training very well! He responded nicely to his commands with only minimal reminders, showing that his skills have really stuck. Overall, he was a wonderful companion today, and we both enjoyed a relaxing day exploring the park together.

Charlie and I had another great day together! We started the morning with a trip to the park before the temperatures climbed, giving us a chance to enjoy some fresh air and stretch our legs. Once the heat picked up, we spent the rest of the day relaxing in and around the house where it was much more comfortable.
Charlie spent most of the day hanging out with his friend, Foxy, and the two of them made for great company. They enjoyed relaxing together and keeping each other entertained throughout the day. Charlie has been settling into a nice routine and continues to be a happy, easygoing companion. It was another fun day, and I'm looking forward to more adventures with him tomorrow!
