Braxton, a 6 month old Boxer from Lakewood, recently completed Balanced Canine Training SoCal 1 Week Board & Train Dog Training Program. Braxton was trained by dog trainer Sheena Chavez. See Braxton's progress below.
Braxton is a 6 month old Boxer who has joined us for out 1 week Boars and Train program. Braxton a has all the "great" puppy qualities! He loves to pull on the leash, jump on everyone and everything and he has lots of energy. His parents have had boxers in the past but he is definitely giving them a run for their money. Below you can see Braxton's progress.

Braxton is learning his new set of commands "Come & Sit". When he comes you want him to loop right behind you and sit directly to your left. You want him facing the same direction and not sitting too far in-front of or behind you. Sometimes he gets the command down great and others he seems confused. We will continue to work on this till he can get it down without any mistakes.

Took Braxton on a walk today along a major street with lots of car traffic. By the time we got to the park he was exhausted, not physically but mentally. He is afraid of all the fast cars driving by and the loud noises coming from them. We are trying to get him used to loud noises and distractions so he can complete the commands out in public

Here we have Braxton learning his "place" command. Place is used for him up get up onto an object and hold his position until he is given the "break" release command.
