Bones, a Great Dane from Marina del Rey, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Board & Train dog training program. Bones was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.

Bones, a 1 year old Great Dane, has joined Offleash SoCal for our 2 week board and train program. Bones is a sweet boy who’s very loving and playful. Some of the issues Bones’ owner is having with him is separation anxiety and lack of following commands because of his anxiety. Over the next 2 weeks he will be working on his off leash obedience and manners. Check in to see his progress!

Unfortunately we had to stay indoors today because of the rain. I introduced and conditioned Bones to the ecollar. We practiced commands sit and place. Place command - command where Bones has to sit or lay on an object. Place is great for confidence building as well as teaching Bones to relax and be calm. I fed him his turkey and potatoes for his meals today. no diarrhea, but he has soft stool. Bones did great for his first day of training.

Today we got to enjoy training outside. Bones practiced commands come, sit, and place. His stool was a little better today, a little more solid than yesterday. I added kibble into his meals.

Today Bones practiced a new command, Down. Not his favorite command to do, but we will keep practicing. Still had diarrhea today.

Bones and I did some training at home today. He got a bath and ran around with his buddy Knight. Bones cant wait to go home and show you all he has learned!
