Autumn and I spent the day getting to know each other. She was really shy at first but came out of her shell once we arrived to the park. Autumn had a hard time learning her first command which was sit. She didn’t like any of the leash pressure and would whine and twist in her leash. Any time we walked in a direction she didn’t want to go to she would bite at the leash or wrap her paws around the leash. After some time, we were able to get some progress done on her sit command. She settled in nicely into her kennel and was a little overwhelmed by today’s activities.Â

Autumn and I spent some time working around other trainers and their pups. Autumn is still getting the hang of her sit command but she’s shown improvement from yesterday. We worked on a new command, come to sit, and she seemed to pick it up quickly but still needs a lot of luring especially if there is something that’s distracting her. Autumn also got a bit overwhelmed in the car kennel so she did have a potty accident. She seems to be doing a bit better with leash pressure but she still tries to thrash when she isn’t getting her way. Overall, Autumn has been doing great and is definitely improving!Â

Autumn and I worked on her sit and come to sit around my neighborhood today. Autumn is having trouble with going potty in her kennel but only in the car. She is doing much better with her sit and did great when we worked on down today. She is still distracted but is doing much better with leash pressure. Overall, Autumn is definitely improving.Â

Autumn had a hard time while we worked on her down today but she was able to get the hang of the command after some time. She is doing a lot better with her heel but still tends to walk ahead of me if she gets too excited. We introduced durations today since every time she sits for longer than a few seconds she moves. Overall, she did a great job today!Â

Autumn and I worked on her heel and her down. She is easily distracted by all of the cars and passing people in my neighborhood that she finds it hard to listen at times. She is doing so much better with her sit but definitely struggles with her down. She knows all of her commands but definitely needs more work on holding her commands. Overall, she is progressing slowly everyday but is doing well!Â

Autumn did have the zoomies today so we made sure to go to a park so she could run around and have fun in the grass. She didn’t go potty in the car kennel today but did get into her water bowl. Autumn and I spent time working on building her confidence around loud noises and stairs. She has a hard time going up and down stairs and tends to panic. She did great after a couple of minutes and was able to get the hang of the stairs. Autumn does need a lot of exercise before we start with her commands since she has a lot of energy. Autumn also loves rolling around in the grass and getting into any puddle she can find. Overall, she is doing great!Â

Autumn and I worked on her down since she still struggles with it. We dedicated the day to working on down and focusing on holding it. We added distractions such as toys and kibble to the floor and she did great. In the beginning it did take her some time to do it without the help of the leash pressure but after some time she got the hang of it quickly! Autumn is such a good girl and is doing great!Â

Autumn and I went to La Mirada park where we were able to work on all of her commands. She is doing so much better with her down but still struggles with her place. Autumn doesn’t want to make the effort to jump up onto anything and will instead but lay her upper half on a bench. Autumn did great over all but is having a hard time with excitement piddling. She will piddle when I take her out of her kennel in my home or in the car. She will even piddle when she gets pets. Overall, she is doing an amazing job and just needs to work on more distractions.Â

Autumn and I spent time working on all of her commands today. She is doing great but really struggles with place. We focused on place today and settling. Autumn would get up from place so we worked on adding the amount of time she would stay in a spot for some time. She did great but still won’t make the effort to use her back legs to jump up onto objects. We worked on different heights but it seems that the objects that are chest height for Autumn she won’t jump up. We’re going to work on this more. She is doing great with down!Â

Autumn and I went to Fashion Island to work on all of her commands. Today was really overwhelming for her in the beginning but after some time she was able to calm down and do all of her commands. She does need to be reminded constantly when other dogs approach her but she does great overall. Autumn is doing so much better with her down and come to sit but still struggles with her place. She will only put her two front paws in an object! We’re working on getting her to use her back legs to jump up onto things.Â

Autumn and I went to a soccer game today! Autumn enjoyed watching everyone play soccer as well as play volleyball with children from my neighborhood. There were a lot of children and birthday parties and we took this opportunity to work on distractions with Autumn! Autumn did such a great job and is doing so much better with her extended sit and downs! She does take a couple of minutes to get used to a new environment since she is so full of energy. Autumn is doing so much better but still struggles with place since she doesn’t want to jump on anything too high! She does great with place if it’s lower but won’t make the effort for anything past her chest!Â

Autumn and I went to Legg Lake Park to work on all of her commands. She is doing great with her durations and didn’t mind other dogs or people that passed her. She did have a bit of trouble with place but we were able to work through it the longer we worked on it. Autumn is doing amazing with her heel but gets a bit excited when doing come to sit. She doesn’t walk up to other people or dogs but is still definitely curious. She is such a good girl and is doing amazing!Â

Autumn and I worked on all of her commands with minimal leash pressure. She is doing a great job with her durations but if she sits for too long she will go into a down. This could be because the floor is slippery under her fluffy paws. She is doing amazing with distractions and other dogs. She didn’t mind as they passed her and stayed in her command! She is such a good girl!Â

She did have very watery stool today! I added plain white rice to her meals to help her digestive system relax!

Autumn and I went to Citadel to work on all of her commands around distractions. She does great but did get a bit spooked with the running children that passed her. She did well with loud noises but if it was too loud she would jump a bit. She worked on her greeting manners today and did amazing at not jumping or demanding more pets. Overall, Autumn did great. Autumn still has a bit of an upset tummy so she did have an accident in the kennel today. I went ahead and added some pumpkin purée to sooth her digestive system and gave her unflavored pedialite to keep her hydrated.

Autumn did such a great job working on all of her commands today! She went to the groomers and they mentioned that she was very good during her groom. Her ears were filled with hair and a bit matted so they went ahead and removed it. Since she’s never been groomed she does shake her head at the new feeling of her ears having no hair. Overall, she did a great job! Here is a beak peak at her final video and she can’t wait to show you all that she’s learned.Â
