Meet Arya! A adorable 11 month old English Bulldog from Northridge Ca, here attending out two week board and trian program! Arya is a playful pup that loves affection and is always happy! Arya is also social with other dogs, she loves to play non stop and has endless energy! Arya is here attending out two week board and train program because she needs help with obedience on and off the leash, along with manners in and out of the house on a daily basis. Arya also has separation anxiety, and at times can become destructive and begin chewing on furniture and carpets. Along with obedience and manners, Arya will also be taught potty training and crate training as well. During her two weeks with me Arya will be taught structure on the daily basis making her crate part of her routine. Tune in to Arya's blog daily to watch our journey together!

Today in the evening Arya and I went on a walk around my neighborhood in La Verne Ca, during our walk we worked on engagement along with teaching her the heel command for leash pressure. Arya did a great job at ignoring all the cars passing by and slowly picked up the heel command after about 20 minutes of showing her what to do once she felt the pressure from the prong. Tomorrow I will be demonstrating the intro to heel along with intro to the ecollar as well in a video! Arya is a awesome pup and I can’t wait to see what this pup has in store!

Today Arya and I went to the local park by my house in San Dimas ca, to get some more training in! Today we focused on pairing the ecollar tool with the leash pressure for heel and sit. At the beginning of the video, you can see Arya being a bit stubborn and trying to avoid the pressure. After changing directions a couple of times Arya was able to pick things up slowly. Towards the end, you can tell she was able to pick things up and realize how to properly shut the pressure off by staying by my side and at my pace! In the end, I was even able to work a bit on her sit command along with some duration by having her hold her sit for about 30-40 seconds then giving her the break command to release her from the sit! Arya is a bit vocal in the kennel but she is slowly getting better!

Today Arya and I went to a park in Anaheim Ca, to get some training along side my friend and their personal pups! Today we focused on the heel command along with the automatic sit when we come to a stop. Arya is still picking up the heel command, she’s got an understanding of the command, now it’s just making it more clear for her, by working on this daily! Along with the heel to sit command we worked on introducing the place command to her! Arya did a great job at picking up the place command , she understands place means to go on the object and hold her position! Overall Arya did a good job today working around distractions!

Today Arya and I went to the park by my house to get some more training. I’ve been working with Arya more than I usually do with other pups. Only because Arya is a bit stubborn at learning her commands, but she is doing a lot better. This is one of our afternoon session today, we worked on her heel to sit command along with the down. In the video, you will see a bit of Arya’s stubbornness trying to fight to ecollar stem. She understands what the feelings means and how to properly shut it off. But just at times she likes to be a bit stubborn whenever there are other distractions around such as people playing in the playground and my personal dog hanging around. Towards the middle of the session she starts to do a lot better at her down commands. Along with the down we worked on her place command as well, the place command is fairly new to her, over the next few days we will work on clarifying all of her obedience commands making sure she has a full understanding of everything!

Today Arya and I went to Del Amo mall today to get some training in along side some other board and train pups as well! Today during our field trip we focused on proofing her heel and sit command , but mainly holding positions out in a public setting! Teaching Arya to hold her composure no matter the distractions around her. Arya did a great job at responding to the ecollar for her commands as well. The stubbornness is slowly slowly going away day by day! Overall Arya did a great job today!

Today after letting Arya out to potty with my other dog Kisa and my board and train pup, when bringing them in I had notice Arya has gotta a small cut on the back of her neck. However I don't really know how else she could get it besides from play rough and accidentally cutting herself on the rose bush out front. It doesn't bother her one bit, she still runs around like its not even there, I will be cleaning it on a daily basis and keep ypu updated!

Today Arya did a great job at responding to the ecollar tool! She knows exactly what to do when she feels the stimulation as well as the verbal command! We will continue on working on proofing all of her commands along with adding more and more distractions to our training! Arya is doing a lot better than a few days ago!

Today In the afternoon, I gave Arya some time off and let her play with Kisa and Bean! We had an early session in the morning and we will have another at night, it’s important to let the pup’s decompress and relax. Training is important, but socializing is important as well! In the afternoon I allowed the pups to play for an hour while I did some yard work! Arya is doing a lot better at training now and I’m proud of the progress the made within these last few days!

Today Arya and I went back to the local park by my house in San Dimas Ca, to worked on her obedience with the ecollar with just the leash dragging and depending mostly on the ecollar tool itself! She did a great job at following through with commands with the ecollar tool! Arya has a solid idea of everything I’m asking of her with the ecollar. We are working on getting Arya completely off leash and using only the ecollar to communicate with her! She’s doing a great job and I couldn’t be more proud of her progress!

Today Arya and I went to the park on Glendale Ca, to get some more training in along with other Offleash members and their pups! Today we focused on mainly the ecollar and having the leash drag some more. Today we proofed our training around other dogs along with people and kids running around at the playground. We are working on getting Arya fully off leash within the next day or two, she is doing a great job at responding to the ecollar stem, and knows ecollar what to do when she feels it. We will continue to add more and more distractions to our training on a daily basis!

Arya's daily potty routines are I let her out to go potty around 6:30 - 7:00 AM. Arya knows to hold her bladder a lot better now in a kennel, she knows to hold it until being let out by me. I usually let them put to go potty every 2 hours, Arya knows the routine she knows once I let her out on the grass it means to use the restroom. Last call to use the restroom is 11:00PM-12:30AM after that they usually sleep in the kennels until 6:30-7:00AM.

Today Arya and I went to meet up with some friends of mine at a local park in Anaheim Ca, to get some training alongside them and their pups! Today Arya and I focused on proofing all of our obedience commands alongside other dogs, along with being completely off leash! During the beginning of the session we had the leash just on and dragging, during the middle of the session I had taken the leash completely off and only used the ecollar tool to communicate with her. Arya is a smart pup and knows when she has the leash on and off. At times Arya can be stubborn when the leash is off, and whatever she decides to be stubborn, I simply just utilize the ecollar tool and communicate with her on a higher stimulation. Only because Ayra already knows what the higher stimulation means and how to properly shut that pressure off. Once we were able to get over Arya’s stubbornness, she was able to follow through with all of her obedience commands. Today was a bit stressful for Arya, but she did learn a lot. I’m proud of Arya and how far she has come from the beginning!

Today Arya and I went back to our local Lowes to proof our off leash obedience! Today we focused on working around loud noises from people cutting wood , and forklifts ,to costumers walking around with carts! Today Arya did a great job at filling though with commands! Arya had a solid understanding of all of her obedience commands, it’s just at times she will need 5 -10 minutes of warming up time before having her fully off leash and running around! She is still getting used to the ecollar and adjusting very well! Tomorrow Arya and I will be going to the Santa Monica Pier to further proof our training!

Today Arya and I went to the Santa Anita Mall to proof her off leash obedience along side heavy distractions from people walking around! She was able to do a great job heeling along side me as well, as holding her sit! Arya does at times likes to test a lot, especially if you turn your head away from her. She knows all of her commands but she doesn’t still need to be held accountable still at times I’m proud of Arya for how far she’s come! Today I did noticed she does get tired fairly quick due to her breed, especially since the weather is getting hotter. Later on tonight we will be working on proofing her in home manners along with food manners as well! Overall Arya did a great job today!
