Archie has quite the ten-day itinerary ahead of her!
Itās always extra special when a familiar face comes back to visit, and we couldnāt be happier to have Archie with us again. ā¤ļø

Today we kicked off the first day of Archieās ten-day stay with me with a nice walk in the park! This gave us the perfect opportunity to get reacquainted with one another while also brushing up on her commandsāand she did a fantastic job! š¶š
Initially, Archie did try taking me for a walk like she loves to do, but it didnāt take long for us to get back to walking nicely side by side. For her extended down command, she was a little hesitant to stay put at first, but we were quickly able to remind her of our expectations and get her settled back in. Otherwise, she did an excellent job with her commands and even earned plenty of compliments from people passing by! I can already tell sheās been getting some practice in since the last time we saw each other. Great work, Archie! šš¾
After getting some good practice in at the park, we headed back to the car to load up and make our way to her home away from home for the next ten days. Archie hopped right into her travel crate and settled in like sheād never left! Once we arrived, she was quick to check everything out, explore the yard, and even mark a few of her favorite spots. She clearly remembered exactly where she was and what she was supposed to do! š”š
We spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying each otherās company. And, of course, we had to squeeze in a game of fetch because I know thatās one of Archieās favorite activities! š¾š
All in all, Archie is settling in wonderfully on her first day back. Itās always so nice welcoming a familiar face back into the pack, and Iām excited for all the fun and adventures we have ahead of us over the next ten days!
Great work, Archie! Welcome back! š¾ā¤ļø

Today Archie and I headed out to a local park before the rain graced us with its presence once again. We spent a little bit of time working on her commands, and she did very well! After getting some good work in, we decided it was time to put the homework away and just enjoy the park.
The rest of our outing was spent simply exploring and letting Archie walk a little ahead of me so she could take in all the sights, sounds, and smells at her own pace. And judging by her enthusiasm, she was very much pleased with this arrangement! š It was fun watching her relax and just be a dog for a while. I think she appreciated that todayās outing wasnāt going to be one long training session ā sometimes a girl just needs to stop and smell the grass!
We both really enjoyed each otherās company as we wandered around the park together. Archie got to explore, sniff to her heartās content, and enjoy some freedom while still showing me that she understood her work when it was time to focus.
After our outing, we headed back indoors to stay dry and spent the rest of our day relaxing at the house. All in all, we had a wonderful day! It was great getting to see Archie unwind, have some fun, and simply enjoy being a dog. š¾ā¤ļø

Today Archie and I headed to Home Depot to put her commands to the test around some distractions, and today this girl was feeling a little cheeky! What do I mean by cheeky? Well, whenever it was time to work on her commands, Archie decided that completing them simply wasnāt enoughāshe also had to provide a little vocal commentary along the way! Apparently, our training session came with a built-in soundtrack today. š
And honestly, thatās okay! While Archie may have felt the need to share her opinions, what mattered most was that she still accomplished exactly what was being asked of her. Despite her little moments of vocal sass, she remained responsive and worked through her commands nicely.
The environment itself was also full of distractions, with plenty of shoppers, noises, carts, and activity happening throughout the store. Thankfully, none of that seemed to bother Archie at all! She was able to navigate through the busy environment and focus on her work without becoming overly concerned with everything happening around her. It was lovely to see her so comfortable and confident in such a stimulating setting.
Once we wrapped up our trip to Home Depot, we headed back home for some well-earned relaxation. We spent the rest of the day enjoying some playtime and, of course, plenty of air conditioning. Archie had absolutely no qualms about that arrangement whatsoever! š After all that hard work, I think she was more than happy to spend the rest of her day cooling off and having some fun.
All in all, Archie had another great day! She may have brought a little extra sass to the table today, but she still got the job done and showed us that distractions are becoming less and less of a concern for her. Such a cheeky, good girl! š¾

With the temperatures rising pretty early in the day, I decided it was best to keep things close to home with little Miss Fluffy Stuff today. We started our day with a nice long walk, giving Archie plenty of time to enjoy her surroundings and take everything in before we got to work.
After our walk, we spent some time practicing her commands, and Archie did a great job! Of course, her sassy attitude made an appearance here and there, but thatās okay. Honestly, I think that little bit of sass is a good sign because it tells me sheās comfortable enough with me to let her personality shine through! She continues to show a wonderful understanding of her work, though I had no doubt she would. This girl is becoming quite the little pro!
Her special tricks, āspinā and ābang! bang!ā, have also become even easier for her to perform with me. Though I have noticed that Archieās spin seems to mysteriously appear only when thereās food involved. š And honestly, I canāt blame her. Everyone has their price!
The rest of our day was spent indoors where we could stay nice and cool and take it easy. All in all, we had another great day together, and Iām loving getting to see more and more of Archieās confident, sassy little personality come out as she gets comfortable with me! š¾

Today Archie and I headed to the mall to practice her commands a bit while also getting in a nice outing where we could escape the heat. And Archie did wonderfully!
She continues to show a great understanding of her commands, which is awesome to see. What was especially cool today was watching her confidently walk into the mall and take everything in. A busy indoor environment like this can be pretty overwhelming for some pups, especially with all the people, sounds, and activity happening around them, but Archie handled it like a pro.
As we worked our way through the mall, Archie was able to scan her surroundings and take in everything happening around her while still staying connected with me. Talk about a multitasker! She was aware of her environment without letting all those distractions pull her attention away from what we were doing.
And, of course, Archie received plenty of compliments along the way. People stopped to tell her how pretty she was and how well behaved she was, and honestly⦠they werenāt wrong! She was quite the little celebrity during our outing. š
After our mall adventure, we headed back to the house where we spent the rest of the day relaxing and getting in some playtime. After all that good work, Archie certainly deserved some downtime!
All in all, it was another great day together. Iām so proud of how well Archie continues to handle herself in new and distracting environments. Sheās showing that she can enjoy her surroundings, take everything in, and still make good choices and stay connected with her handler. What a good girl! ā¤ļø

Today Archie and I took a trip out to a local park where we spent a little time practicing her commands, and she did well! While she isnāt here for a training program, itās still important to keep up with her manners and obedience throughout her stay, and she continues to show a great understanding of everything she knows.
After a bit of practice, we found a trail to explore, and I let Archie wander ahead of me a little so she could take in all the sights and smells around her. And she absolutely had a blast doing so! She was more than happy to investigate her surroundings and enjoy a little freedom to simply be a dog. Sometimes the best part of an outing is getting to put the work aside and just explore together.
After our park adventure, we headed back home where we enjoyed a nice afternoon of playtime and relaxation. Archie, of course, had absolutely no complaints about that! A little exploring, a little play, and plenty of downtime sounds like a pretty perfect day to me.
All in all, it was another great day getting to hang out and explore with Archie. Her blossoming personality definitely keeps things interesting, and it has been so much fun getting to know all of her little quirks and seeing her become more comfortable during her stay. Sheās such a fun girl, and Iām always curious to see what kind of personality sheās going to bring to the table each day! š¾

Today Archie and I headed out to a local park for some much-needed playtime, and this girl was ALL about it! The second she saw that ball come out, her eyes lit up and she was ready to go! š I swear she could have chased that thing around all day if I had let her. It was so much fun watching her run around off leash, happily chasing her ball while still staying close by and checking in with me.
Once we wrapped up our game, we found a shady spot to relax and spent some time watching all the park-goers wander by before heading back to the house. Archie happily settled in for a nice nap until it was time to come back out for more playtime.
All in all, we had such a fun day together! And apparently Archie agreed because she decided to bless me with a few kisses on the cheek, which I was very honored to receive. šā¤ļø Itās been so much fun getting to simply enjoy her company during her stay rather than focusing so heavily on training, and I think itās safe to say Archie is enjoying her little vacation just as much as I am! š¾

Today Archie and I headed out to Rosemead to meet up with some fellow trainers and their pups for a fun outing! While we were there, we spent some time working on Archieās commands, and she did a fantastic job. Even with all of the other pups around and plenty going on, she was able to stay focused and show off how well she understands her work. Such a good girl!
After getting some practice in, I decided it was time to bring out the tennis ball⦠and Archie was THRILLED! The game was officially on, and this girl had absolutely zero complaints about it. Itās so much fun watching Archie get to run around, play, and just enjoy herself. She had a blast chasing after that ball and getting to be a silly, happy pup for a while.
We played for quite some time until, unfortunately, the tennis ball met its untimely fate and was lost. But thatās okayāI happen to have more where that came from! š So donāt worry, Archieās tennis-ball career is far from over.
Once we wrapped up our game, we took some time to relax and let her settle back down. After a nice water break, we headed home where Archie got to enjoy a quiet and relaxing afternoon.
All in all, another great day in the books for this sweet girl! Archie continues to show just how well she can balance her good girl responsibilities with simply having fun and enjoying her time here. ā¤ļø

Today Archie and I started our day with a nice, long walk around the neighborhood. We took some time to practice her commands along the way, and she did a great job! She continues to show such a great understanding of her work, even if she does feel the need to add a little bit of her signature sass every now and then. Of course, I wouldnāt expect anything less from Miss Archie!
After we got some practice in, I let her switch gears and enjoy herself a bit. She was free to sniff to her heartās content, as long as she remembered that pulling on the leash wasnāt part of the deal. She was more than happy to take advantage of all the wonderful neighborhood smells before we headed back home to relax for a little while.
Later on, we headed outside for a good old-fashioned game of fetch, and of course, Archie absolutely loved it! Thereās just something about watching her light up when she gets to play that makes it so much fun to spend time with her.
All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend Archieās last day of her vacation with me. It has been so much fun getting to see her personality shine through and making sure we had as much fun together as possible during her stay. She is such a fun girl, and Iāve truly enjoyed having her here again.
Thank you so much for trusting me to care for your girl once again. Sheās been an absolute joy to have around, and I certainly hope I get the chance to have her back for another visit in the future! Until next time, Miss Archie! ā¤ļø
