Otter, a Miniature Schnauzer from Canyon Lake, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal One Week Board & Train dog training program. Otter was trained by dog trainer Haley Giwoff in Costa Mesa, CA.
This is Otter! She is a 3 and a half year old Miniature Schnauzer from Canyon Lake, CA. She is here for a One Week Board and Train Program. In general she is a pretty good girl but doesn't know her basics and likes to jump on people/furniture. She is a sweet smiley girl with a great little personality and I can't wait to see how much progress she is going to make over the next 7 days!

The little Otter is all settled in! Already getting comfortable with the Backyard and the Kennel! She is such a sweetheart wanting to give everybody kisses. She had a healthy appetite and scarfed her whole dinner down! She took her medication with out complaint and has been a total angel in her Kennel! I can't wait to see how she does in her first lesson tomorrow!

Miss Otter did amazing in her first lessons today! We worked on her recall and her Heel commands and she is one smart girl! She has completely adjusted to the E-collar and got to work in her first couple minutes. She did great over night, is eating well, and her anxiety is getting less and less with every passing hour!

Otter is doing awesome! She got introduced to Place and Sit today! She practiced at the high school and was very enthusiastic!

Otter now has her full suite of commands down! We did some confidence building and practice in the backyard. The little mamma conquered the A-Frame today! She has been getting extra smiley as of late anytime she accomplishes something difficult she get's super wiggly and smiles at me!

The little mamma did great at the shopping center today! She was a bit overwhelmed at first but then did a great job practicing Heel, Place, Sit , and Down. We even got to work on some duration / distance with all of them. I am so proud of how far this girl has come!

We did some confidence building today! Otter conquered the slide at the park! Her loose leash Heel is looking awesome and we are working her distance/duration for all her other commands. She went with us to tennis tonight and practiced her Place skills while we played! She didn't try to come off even once, She had so much fun jumping off and exploring the court during her breaks though!

Sorry guys, I couldn't resist doing it to you again! Otter is doing great, we worked on her final video today and she is all packed up to go home tomorrow! She has been so fun to work with! She is going to be so excited to go home tomorrow!
