Teya cannot remember a time when she wasn’t working with animals! She grew up working with her dad at the zoo, and has always known that she would spend her life working with animals. 

She first gained exposure to raising and training dogs while helping her parents breed, birth, and raise 30+ AKC English Mastiff puppies. This was an experience that showed her just how rewarding she finds getting to teach puppies all about the world! 

Teya got her start as a canine handler over many years guiding off leash pack hikes of fifteen or more dogs and supervising socialization of hundreds in doggy daycares. Her experiences working with so many dogs among great trainers inspired her to want to do the same. She has a 150lbs rescue Mastiff named Soup who has given her the confidence that she can handle any pup!
