Schatzi is a sweet gal who's here for 1 week to work on basics, and proof some of what she already knows around distractions.

She's settling in well! We've been decompressing in the room for the past couple hours, and she just ate some dinner.

We've had a productive day! Woke up, went for a walk, and then practiced basics in the front yard. We introduced place with a raised cot, and she was a little skeptical at first but got over her hesitation quickly. She's getting the hang of commands, but needs more help with distractions. When she hears a noise, she likes to break her down and get up to check it out.
We went to the home depot this evening again, and her heel was better than yesterday. Here's her by the Christmas tree display!

We spent our morning working on place, and tonight we're going to a petsmart to practice working around different smells, and other dogs nearby. During our downtime shes been laying next to me while I read, or watch TV, and playing in the backyard with a ball.

We went to downtown Huntington Beach today! She was very nervous around crowds but powered through it.
