Today I noticed Queenie’s paws were bothering her as well as her being a bit itchy today. Her coat is a little dry and flaky. Her paws were pink and tender from over licking. I checked her paws for fox tails, splinters, or anything that could be bothering her, but found nothing. It could be allergies from the grass or bushes. I cleaned her feet and applied the Calmoseptine that you gave me. I scheduled her an appointment at the groomers for a spa day treatment. I decided to stay home with Queenie and practice her obedience commands. After training she socialized and played with her friends.

Today Queenie and I went to work on her off leash obedience at the Block at Orange. She did awesome job! She also went to the groomers. They gave her a hot oil treatment for her flaky skin. She is feeling much better now!

Today Queenie and her friend, Tali, went to Glendale Galleria to work on their commands around distractions. Queenie did good, except when we me up with the other OffLeash SoCal trainers and their dogs. She was really interested in the other dogs. She barked and whined, wanting to say hello to all of them. After a little while of not being able to say hi, she gave up and started focusing and paying attention to me.

Today Queenie and I went to Arcadia Community Regional Park to work on her off leash commands. I taught Queenie a new command, Under. It only took her a few minutes to get this command down. At home we worked on door manners, food manners, and loading up.

Today Queenie and I went to the park to work more on her off leash obedience. I‘m so proud of Queenie and how far she has come with her training, and we still have another week to go! We went home and worked more on her Canine Good Citizen requirements, food manners, door manners, and send away to place.

Today Queenie assisted me with training her new friend, Cosmo. Queenie showed him the ropes of how to be a good off leash dog. I think she might have a little crush on him. She loves hanging out with him and often tries to get him to play tug of war with her.

Today Queenie and I went to the Irvine Spectrum to work on her off leash obedience. She continues to do an awesome job with her training! The only thing she seemed to be skittish around was the water fountains. I don’t know if it’s the water shooting out or the splashing of water. I can tell she is interested, but the noise or the splashing makes her unsure.

Queenie working on her off leash obedience at home, in Huntington Beach. She was a bit excited when we first got here; she must have remembered the area. She did a great job being off leash around all the people and dog distractions! She did well with door manners. You can see the barking dogs in the stroller pass by Queenie and she didn’t react, but she did try to be a store thief and steal an ornament at the end of the video.

Today Queenie took the day off from training enjoyed her last day having fun. She spent the day hanging out and playing with her furry friends. We went to the park and played fetch. She enjoyed running around and playing off leash! I’m excited for you to see the new and improved Queenie! She has come a long way since I picked her up three weeks ago. She can’t wait to go home and show you everything she has learned!
