Say Hello to Leo, the 8 month old, Dachshund from Corona! He is joining the 1 Week Board and Train to work on his overall obedience around distractions. He is a sweet boy who likes to explore, say hi to everyone, and only listen on his terms, when there's snacks. Watch his transformation over the next week!
Pupdate 09/12/21
Leo spent the day working on his recall with other dogs. He met another Dachshund, named Ladybug and fell in love. He was super distracted and definitely "forgot" his name when he was walking with his new special friend! They went on a walk together but he also worked on his loose leash walking so he wouldn't pull on the leash. He spent the afternoon working on all of his manners. He was very excited to get his fishy snacks with his dinner.
PUPDATE 9/13/2021
Leo spent the day going to different parks to work around other dogs and meet some new people. He got to practice his recall while dogs walked by. He was very distracted but he is slowly getting the hang of it. He worked on adding more objects to his place command and also learned down. He worked on duration sit and ate all his food. We did a lot of walking so he got extra for dinner, he liked that.

Leo spent the day working on his manners and adding duration to his commands. He worked on adding duration to his down and sit. He also worked on holding place for an entire episode of Lucifer, very exciting! He later got to meet one of my dogs, Stitch, and go hiking together to work on his loose leash walking. He is easily distracted by other dogs and kept wanting to walk next to him. But he made a new friend to mark with. He is eating and drinking really great!

Leo had an exciting day making new friends and working on adding distance to his commands. He met my dog Elvis and got to play with his special friend Ladybug again. They worked on walking nicely together and doing door manners together. He is eating great and is definitely enjoying the extra attention he gets from people!

Leo spent the day working at an outdoor mall. He worked on adding distractions to his duration commands and polite greetings. There is also a clip of him walking with his new friend at an outdoor shopping mall. He worked on his door manners and food manners.
