Frank, a French Bulldog from Culver City, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Board & Train dog training program. Frank was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.
Frank, a 10 month old French Bulldog, has joined OffLeash SoCal for our two week board and train program. Frank is a friendly and energetic boy who loves everyone he meets. Frank likes to jump into the dishwasher to clean the dishes, chews and rips up plants, pulls on walks, and grabs things on the floor but doesn’t drop if told. Over the next two weeks Frank will be working on his off leash obedience and manners. Check in to see his progress!

Today I introduced and conditioned Frank to the ecollar. We practiced commands sit, down, and place. Place is a command where Frank has to sit or lay on an object. This command is great for building confidence as well as teaching him to be calm and relaxed. He slept through the night and is having no problem eating all his meals. Frank loves chasing the ball around the yard, as well as playing with all his friends!

Today Frank and I went to the park to work on his obedience commands. We practiced come to sit, come to down, and place. We also started working on his loose leash heel. Still a work in progress, but he is walking a lot better, not pulling as much.

Today was a little hot so we stayed home for training. Frank worked on come to sit, down, and place. The doggie pool got delivered just in time. Frank and his friends got to test it out and he loved it!

Sorry for the delay with the post. I was having issues uploading to the app. Today Frank and his buddy, Lucy, went with me to The Block at Orange to work on their obedience commands around high distractions. Frank was a bit distracted with all the commotion going on around us, but once we walked around he started to focus on me and less on everything else.

Today Frank and I went to the park to work on his commands. Frank Is almost ready to be off leash. He obeyed all his commands without me holding onto the leash!

Today frank and I went to Lowe's to work on his commands. He did a great job at doing all his commands off leash! We walked throughout the store and Frank stayed right at my side. A few people stopped to compliment on how well behaved he was.

Today Frank and I met up with some other Offleash SoCal trainers at the park. Frank worked on his off leash commands around other dogs. He was a little distracted at first and tried to go up to them, but once I corrected him, he ignored them and followed my commands.

Today frank and I went to Fashion Island to work on his off leash obedience. We met up with another OffLeash SoCal trainer. He did a very good job. We walked past other dogs and he ignored them.

Today frank took the day off from training and spent his last day hanging out and playing with his friends. He got a bath, but didn’t stay clean for long. Frank can’t wait to go home and show you all he has learned!
