Francesca, 8 month Cane Corso, joined OffLeash SoCal for our one week board and train program. Francesca is a sweet and docile girl. francesca knows some commands but listens when she wants so, likes to jump to greet, chew, and pull on the leash. Over the next week Francesca will be working on her on leash obedience and manners. Check in to see her progress.

Today I introduced and conditioned Francesca to the ecollar. We practiced commands sit, down, and place. Place is a command where Francesca must sit or lay on a defined object. Place is great for building confidence as well as teaching her to be relaxed and calm.

today Francesca and I went tot the park to work on her commands. We practiced place, sit and down. We started working on the heel command. heel is still a work in progress, but she is walking a lot better now. Today her tummy wasn’t feeling too well, she had diarrhea. I gave her rice, chicken broth, and probiotics. I will keep watch and see how she feels tomorrow.

Today Francesca and I went to Hollywood Blvd to get her exposed to high distractions, but it was a bit too much for her. All the noise and commotion made her nervous, so we drove to a park, with medium distractions, and she was more comfortable. We practiced all her commands and started working on her duration. She still had diarrhea today, but was a little more solid than yesterday.

Today Francesca had her visit to the vet. She got her shots and medication for her diarrhea. it was too hot to train during the day and I didn’t want her to get dehydrated, so we waited until it cooled down and we went to Birch St. in Brea to work on Her commands around distractions. She did great job! we walked around crowds of people, people outdoor dining, busy traffic, and in some of the retail Stores. She was relaxed and focused on me the entire time.

Today Francesca and I went to Lowes to work on commands out of the heat. We worked on all her commands: place, come to sit, duration sit/down, and heel. She did a great job today. Someone complimented her on how well behaved she was. Francesca is doing a lot better after her vet visit. Her stool is back to normal.

Today Francesca and I went out to Los Angeles to the Westfield Century City Mall to work on her obedience around distractions. She did an awesome job! She got a bath, which she wasn’t too happy about, and hung out with her friend before she leaves tomorrow. Francesca can’t wait to go home and show you all she has learned!
