Finn, a Goldendoodle from Rancho Cucamonga, CA went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal Board & Train dog training program. Finn was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.
Finn, a 5 month old Goldendoodle, has joined Offleash SoCal for our 2 week board and train program. Finn is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves people and playing with every dog he meets. Some of the issues his owners are having are that he jumps to greet people, puppy play biting, pulling on the leash, rushing out the door, and focusing around distractions. Over the next 2 weeks, Finn will be working on his off leash obedience and manner. Check in to see his progress!

Today I introduced and conditioned Finn to the ecollar. We practiced commands come and sit. He did a great job with his day of training. Finn is having a blast playing with all his new doggie friends. The first night was a little tough, he barked throughout the night in his crate. I think he wants just play and run around like it’s a funhouse. Im sure as the days go on and we start working more, Finn will be so tired that he will sleep throughout the night.

My apologies for not having this up yesterday. I was having an issue uploading the video. I took Finn to the park to practice commands. We worked some more on come to sit. We also started working on his loose leash heel. It's still a work in progress, but he is not pulling as much as before.

Today Finn and I did training at home. We practiced more on come to sit and loose leash heel. Finn learned a new command today, Place. Place is a command where he needs to sit on an object and stay put. This command is great for teaching a dog how to be calm and just relax. It is also great for confidence building. Trying to climb up and sit on new objects can be a bit scary sometimes.

Today Finn and I went to the park to practice commands. We practiced come to sit, place, down, and heel. Finn is almost ready to be off leash, we practiced the heel without me holding the leash and he walked by my side the entire time.

I’m sorry for such late updates. Having issues again with uploading to the app. Today Finn and his buddy, Cody, went for an evening hike. He had a lot of fun on the trails. Finn is doing a great job with his off leash obedience. He is completely off leash now!
