Bruin, the German Shepherd from La Verne, CA went through the OffLeash SoCal Board & Train Program. Bruin was trained by Chris Louie in Norwalk, CA.
Day of Drop off
Bruin the 7 month old German Shepard has joined OffLeash SoCal’s 2 week board and train. Bruin is highly intelligent and has a ball drive like no other. His parents have seen him get a little too jealous when it comes to sharing love and affection. When on walks Bruin will pull on the leash unless he’s on a prong collar. Some of the things we will be working on are his door manners, off leash recall, as well as socializing with other dogs and people. Stand by for his PAWSOME transformation.

Bruin went for a walk around the neighborhood today while we worked on sit and heel. He is such a handsome boy who really loves to please whoever he is working for. I am looking forward to what this pup can accomplish in 2 weeks.

Bruin worked on his door manners today, duration down, and he even jumped up on the slide. This smart boy is loving the training regiment.

This is Bruin working hard to get Off Leash. He has been placing on just about everything to get him comfortable jumping up on things only when commanded to do so. His OffLeash Recall and duration of commands has really improved over these last couple of days.

Bruin has been lights out with his training and still has about 4 full days left. He has taken to crate training very well and only has had 1 accident overall. He still has the leash on but has been dragging it and it’s only used to prevent any accidents.

Bruin has not had any problems eating his food, today we took it light because these next two days we will working hard to go home. When working any dog it has to be just as much fun and reward as it is work. Bruin has truly taken to his working line.
