Benny | Goldendoodle | La Crescenta, CA | In Training

Introducing Benny the almost 1 year old Goldendoodle to our 1 week Board & Train program. Benny is here to learn the fundamental commands of being an obedient dog. He has lots to work on for leash pulling and manners around other dogs and new people. He loves to bark and jump. We will be getting right to training and can't wait to see Bennys results.

Benny out learning to walk on the leash without pulling arms off today. The heel command is hard to get at first for him but he began to catch on by the end of it. Video to come soon! Doing great for his first day with me and has started barking less as he gets more comfortable.

Benny out working his commands around the neighborhood today. Benny definitely will pull if you let him so it's important to stick with using the collar and controlling his impulses. We practiced learning the place command as well today. He is picking that one up pretty quickly.

Benny practicing the place command! He is enjoying learning this command and is understanding it quickly. His focus needs to hold on me until hearing his release command "break" which we are working on but he is improving. Making it fun each time with praise and rewards.

Out walking with my dog Kylo. Benny is a bit crazy when first seeing a new dog but will quickly begin focusing with use of his training collar and will heel around other dogs. Holding him accountable to the commands we ask of him
