Meet Joseph Serrano. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. His life has been full of adventure and change. From playing competitive soccer for 21 years to serving in the United States Army starting at 18 years old. One constant throughout Joseph’s life is his passion for dogs. He had come to a decision that when he finished serving in the military, he was going to pursue his dream of helping dogs live a more fulfilled life.
Joseph regularly serves in his community in the efforts to help dogs in need. He is also pursuing his degree in Canine Psychology. Joseph dreams of one day opening a dog sanctuary to help dogs with behavioral issues and finding them a forever home.
Joseph aims to make this world better for pups all around. He is passionate about behavior modification and helping pets parents communicate with their pets more effectively. He believes a lack of clear communication with a pup is one of the primary reasons why an unfavorable behavior takes place. As a dog trainer, Joseph creates the ability for pet parents and pets to communicate clearly and productively.
Joseph has received training in Behavior Modification, Canine Explosives/Narcotics Detection, and Tracking training at American K-9 Interdiction. Joseph is a nationally certified Explosive Detection Handler and Instructor. Receiving his certification in September 2021 from American K-9 Interdiction.
