Chris Gutierrez is a native of Southern California. He counts himself lucky to have grown up around all types of animals from guinea pigs to homing pigeons and goats to chickens, but most especially dogs from a very young age. Dogs have held a special place in his heart ever since. 

Over the past 8 years Chris has dedicated his life to becoming a dog trainer. He spent a year working as a dog trainer at Petco, then came across an opportunity to work for OJ Knighten the K9 Coach. This is where his passion and enthusiasm for dogs and dog training  was allowed to flourish. From basic obedience and sporting work to behavior modification and kennel management he’s learned a lot. He was lucky to train hundreds of dogs from giant mastiffs to tiny chihuahuas and everything in between. He has titled a Belgian Malinois named Blitz as Level I Mondioring dog. His favorite breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier and he plans to own one (or ten) till the day he dies. 

His mission is to help as many dogs as he can from being re-homed or sent to a shelter. He looks forward to meeting you and your dog(s) and making them well behaved canine citizens.
