Meet Andy! His love for dogs started at the age of nine when his family brought his first puppy named Patches! Patches was a small white Maltese. As Andy got older, he began admiring the breed of Pitbulls. Andy found his love for Pitbulls because of the stereotypes people put on them. He understood that any dog and breed can be ‘scary’, but it’s really about how a person reads and approaches a canine! When he turned 18, Andy was finally able to get his first Pitbull, and her name is Koda. Ever since then, his love has formed into a true passion!

At the age of 22, Andy started working at a canine facility in OC, where he got hands-on work as a kennel technician. As a technician he learned proper care, cleaning, and sanitizing techniques when working with canines. Andy also did some work with the trainers to get some on-hand experience with different breeds and temperaments. After some hard work and dedication, he worked his way up to being promoted to a dog trainer! Andy had full understanding of puppy training, on-leash obedience, along with advanced off-leash obedience.

Andy has joined Offleash SoCal to better his training along with expanding his abilities with a variety of different breeds that he was unable to have with his previous company.  We are excited to have Andy as part of the team.
